“There is so much more I want to tell you, but you can’t bear it now.”
John 16:12

As I was reading this morning this verse strongly stuck out to me. God was reminding me that though there is so much that I want to know, He knows how much I can handle and when I can handle knowing it. Just a few verses before this Jesus was telling the disciples of some of the things that would happen and they were already grieving because of it. Jesus knew that if he continued telling them of all the trials and hardships they would see and face along the way that they would not be able to bear it. We need to be reminded that God tells us what we need to know when we need to know it and we must trust him and seek His spirit along the way. Verse 13 tells us that the Spirit will guide us into all truth. Therefore, we must spend time in the presence of the Lord and listen to the Spirit for guidance in each and every step. We know that God’s plan is good and we will see His good plan revealed in the end, but along the way He will reveal things to us little by little. In this way we will continue walking with Him and leaning in to hear His voice to guide us into truth. He doesn’t keep things from us just because. But instead He does it for our good. He is a GOOD father and He knows what we need and when we need it and we know that we can trust Him to reveal things to us when the time is right.

Keep seeking Him and trusting His Spirit my sis 🤩

I think that our generation has been raised to believe that more is better. More money, more clothes, more fame, etc. I believe that this idea has failed us and for most people this more mentality has become idolatry.

Today, I want to talk specifically about money though because the bible actually talks a lot about how we should handle our money. I was reading in Matthew today, and I really encourage you to go read Matthew 5:19-24, but Matthew 19:21 says “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” and later on it says “You cannot serve both God and money.”

I personally have struggled with this and at one point my savings account became my idol. Every time I would go to give money to God’s Kingdom my mind would be filled with thoughts of “I don’t understand the point of giving anyway, it’s not like my money matter actually makes a difference.” I had to realize it wasn’t about the amount I was giving, but it was about my heart behind giving.

Through much prayer and much disciple I’ve learned that giving to the Lord and His Kingdom is one of my amazing ways to serve Him. I’ve learned how to give joyfully and freely without doubt and hesitation. I encourage you to reflect today and see what areas you’re withholding from the Lord, whether that be pertaining to money or other areas in life.

When we surrender everything to the Lord, that is where freedom begins.

✨something SPECIAL coming✨

hey there pretty people!! We want to be transparent with you all as you may have noticed our lack of posting on social media lately. Life for us, as well as many of you, has really sped up in the last week with the end of the semester approaching. Our schedules have become overwhelmingly full of papers, projects, and exams and we’re struggling to keep up. We know that many of you are also experiencing this same type of stress and we want you to know that we are here with you. We know it, we see it, and we feel it. But friends we serve a God who is much bigger than any amount of stress that this world can put on us. We serve a God who is the author of peace and who leaves His peace with us so, with His help, we are pushing through and jumping back into this thing!!

We will be hopping back on to our social media in this next week and bringing you many more posts and content. On top of that, we’ve got something special coming your way so be on the lookout!! Any guesses what it may be?? 🤩😎☀️🌈✨🌸

What’s up my peeps?! 😎 I hope you’re all having a lovely week so far! Did you know, that as a Christian you have been specially gifted by God? Like WOW sis, God has given you something special and He wants you to use it for the Kingdom!!

I was reading in Exodus 35 and I noticed that it said for those who are “gifted craftsmen” to construct everything the Lord has commanded and for women who are “skilled in sewing” to prepare fine linen cloth. It was important that they use their specific gifts to present scared offerings to the Lord. Not everyone had their same abilities so it was important they use their gifts where they were needed.

This reminds me of Romans 12:4-8 which tells us that we are many parts of one body. We have been given different gifts for doing certain things well. My question to you is, how are you using the gifts God has given you to further His kingdom?

You see we all have been given special gifts from God but it’s up to us to be willing to use them for the sake of His kingdom. We must not let our gifts be wasted. How would you feel if you gave someone a gift that they never used? We should be eager to help in the Lord’s work and therefore make ourselves available to use our specific gifting wherever it may be needed.

So friend I encourage you to take time today and this week to 1. Ask God to reveal to you your specific gifting and 2. Begin using that gift to show Christ to others and further His kingdom.

This past weekend we got to take our small group girls on a retreat! We went to Atlantic Beach, and it was the most amazing time! We got to see God bond our girls in miraculous ways. During our hour of listening to God speak, God was connecting how He was speaking to us. While we were reflecting on that hour, we saw that God was using similar scriptures to speak, and He was addressing similar issues. This weekend was eye opening, and we could not be more thankful for how much God cares about His children.

Hey beautiful people, happy wednesday!! Today, I really wanted to talk to you about stress and anxious thoughts. These next few weeks are going to be the busiest weeks for me of the semester, and I have noticed recently that I have become so stressed over nothing.

All of my stress occurs when I look forward to what’s ahead. Stress of things I will have to do and decisions I may have to make. Matthew 6:34 says “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble if it’s own.” How silly of me to look so far forward, to the point where anxious thoughts begin to enter my mind.

It’s so easy for me to tell myself to not be worried about what’s ahead, but I still find myself slipping into these patterns of stress and worry. Not only do I have to fight my thoughts of worry and stress, but I have to fight this world because this world wants me to be worried and stressed. It’s only through prayer and repentance that I am able to escape these toxic thoughts. “Do not be conformed to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is-his good, pleasing and perfect will.” Romans 12:2 By the renewing of our mind we are able to escape worry, fear, stress, and anxiety.

Friends, there is nothing in this world that is worth our stress and worry. When we worry and stress, we slowly lose our abundant joy. I pray today and everyday that you are able to see the goodness of God and lean into it even in times of worry. Whether it be school, relationships, sickness, life, etc. God is in control!

The anxiety and depression rates in our country are upsetting. It makes me so sad to see that so many young people my age are having to experience this. I believe through radical prayer and repentance we can see God so some amazing things in young peoples lives. So, today even if you are not struggling with anxiety and depression, I beg of you to get on your hands and knees and pray for our generation.

I love you all, and I pray that you feel surpassing peace this week!

Hey there you lovely humans!! I hope you’ve all had the BEST week so far! But even if not, I want to encourage you all that you WILL make it! God is with you and He is walking beside you even when life gets tough.

Today I wanted to talk with you guys about ~seasons~ ❄️🌸☀️🍁 people talk about seasons all the time. We’ve all heard it (or said it) “seasons change,” “it’s just not the right season,” etc. I think sometimes we can begin to feel stuck in our current season because we’re so eager for the next. We so badly want to see what God is going to do in the next season of our lives that we CANNOT wait to get out of our current season.

While it’s not a bad thing to be expectant for what God will do in the next season, I believe that God wants us to embrace and see Him working in each and EVERY season of our lives. Ecclesiastes 3:1 says “For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven” When we spend our whole life ever so eager for the next season, we miss what God is doing in our current season. We need to be reminded that there is purpose in every season that we find ourselves walking through.

I know this is something I struggle with constantly. I often find myself dreaming about the future and just waiting to see the one BIG thing God has planned for my life. Recently I’ve been hearing Him say “Samantha you’re missing it. Just be still where you’re at and watch what I am doing even now. Don’t rush where I have you.” I just want to see what God does in my future but He’s always reminding me that He is already there and all I have to do is trust Him and walk with Him as he takes me there step by step.

Every season will eventually come to an end. Whether you’re in the best season of your life or what seems like the worst season of your life right now, it will end. So how are you embracing your current season to see God working even now? I encourage you guys to spend time this week thanking God for your current season. And don’t just say it, but really mean it. Ask Him to show you the goodness of His love in each and every season so that you will be equipped and ready to take on the next thing that life throws at you.

Happy Tuesday sweet friends!☀️🤩Today we released an episode that we know SOOO many young girls deal with, and that is IDENTITY. All the time I hear people ask “Who am I? Why am I here? Do I have a purpose?” so Sam and I sat down and tackled some of these questions together. We believe our purpose and identify can ONLY be found in CHRIST. We love you all and hope you enjoy this episode🤍
