Habit stacking is when we stack a new behavior on top of an old one. For example, you can take the existing habit of brushing your teeth in the morning and stack the habit of drinking a glass of water on top of it. This allows us to "chain" habits together so that they happen in immediate succession of one another, which increases our likelihood of sticking with the new habit.
Sometimes, a task doesn't require our complete attention, and in these situations, we can do two tasks at once - such as listening to a podcast while cooking.

Parkinson's Law is the idea that work expands to fill the time available. If you give yourself a certain number of hours to do something, you're likely to take the full amount of time allotted, even if it could actually be done much faster. If you're truly passionate about your work, you don't need to give yourself an endless amount of time to get something done. We tend to procrostinate and stall even more when we're working on something that we don't truly care about.
