EX:Panse Records is an UK independent underground electronic music label specializing in Techno, focusing on the genres of minimal, electro and techno and is the label of British Techno Producer Funk Rider X who runs the label alongside fellow producers Pete “Blackspark” Ward and Eat The Rainbow. Creating the label in 2020, Funk Rider
X has created this record label to truly explore and create endless boundaries within techno, offering an platform for artists of the genre to fully experiment with their productions, been given the opportunity to truly think outside of the box with the no rules method that EX:Panse offers, giving like minded artists the opportunity to truly run wild with their imagination and creativity having a platform to create new, original and unique forms of techno with no restrictions and unlike most majority of labels, been given full creative control and complete freedom to truly express themselves artistically with their vision. EX:Panse Records truly will offer an alternative in the industry, at a time currently when 99% of labels for the most part are following trends and what`s popular with the current beatport top 100, EX:Panse aims to help break this mould giving artists the chance to fully be themselves with their sound with no restrictions or having to fit in with certain trends and giving producers an platform where they can truly create their own vision with their sound without been pigeonholed. EX:Panse will truly offer an alternative for techno and underground electronic music as a whole, bringing something different, original and unique to the electronic music industry giving the newest, up and coming techno producers an platform to truly express themselves and their creations. EX:Panse Records will serve as the home for Funk Rider X alongside Pete “Blackspark” Ward and Eat The Rainbow, and the label will serve as a platform for the label owner and the label managers for their productions enabling these artists to fully express themselves with their versions of Techno with their creatively, as they set out to create new, original, alternative unique forms of the genre with the label truly giving them the opportunity to fully stamp their authority in the world of techno and electronic music as a whole. EX:Panse will offer an special form of communication that has no barriers or known obstacles that can’t be challenged. Where are “No Rules” with the label and that is the only directive that needs to be mutually agreed on. Funk Rider X Presents his first EX:Panse Records release for 2024 for EXR:016 with the Pre-Masters for "The Flight Of The 303 Navigator". 135-138 BPM Techno with Minimal, Industrial, Acid and Hard Edged sounds. Introducing the original mix of "The Flight Of The 303 Navigator", the other track will include Hydradrone 5000`s Pure 303 Mix to give an glimpse into the first Funk Rider X EX:Panse release for 2024. Having been featured in New Year`s Dash recently, these pre-masters are an first look at both of these tracks and an sneak peak into what lies ahead at EX:Panse Records for this year.
Having an fantastic 2023 on the label where Funk Rider X received support on his releases from the likes of Richie Hawtin, Joseph Capriati, Marco Carola, Joris Voorn and Paco Osuna plus many more the EX:Panse label boss presents his first offering for the UK imprint for 2024 with "The Flight Of The 303 Navigator". Emphasizing on the iconic famous 303 acid bass sound is the theme of this EP, especially with these two versions of the EP title track. Using digital software to create the famous acid 303 sound, as well as analogue with the Roland TB-03 (303) "The Flight Of The 303 Navigator" displays how different methods of synthesis can create the famous 303 bass sound. These Pre-Masters include the Original Mix by Funk Rider X, and the Pure 303 Mix by his live project alias Hydradrone 5000. And the theme of this EP, is exploring that concept starting first with these versions of the EP title track. For this year, we will be releasing an total of 3-4 EPs scatted out across the whole year which will include Acid House, Electro, Old Skool, Warehouse Rave, Deep Techno, Progressive and Melodic Techno to Minimal, Industrial, Acid and Hard Edged Techno. For 2024 on EX:Panse Records, our artists will include "Funk Rider X", "TJ Nexus", "Audiogenics" and "Hydradrone 5000". News regarding our first release for 2024 will be confirmed soon 🙂.

As we are officially now into 2024, at EX:Panse Records we have made an decision with what we have decided to do as an label for this upcoming year. And this wasn't an easy decision to make. This has been the reason, why we have been quiet on social media over the past few weeks after having made such an hard decision in regards to the label going forward for the near future. After much hard thinking and decision making, i (Funk Rider X) have decided that for the time being that 2024 will be the final regular year for EX:Panse Records as i`ve decided to focus purely on my own career as an artist and producer.
I felt now was the best time to move forward with my own career and put all my focus and energy an 100% into my own productions, whilst building up my own profile. I truly do believe now is the right time to focus on myself as an artist. Also in regards to running EX:Panse over the past 4 years, i feel an little bit burned out and exhausted from being an label owner. It is an very tiring process in this industry, as well as an very demanding one also, with an lot of energy, effort and time needed to be put in for an label to be an success. Also to do things right, it comes at an really high financial cost also. I feel right now is the right time to step back from being an label owner, and just be an artist again and have that as my main focus and commitment. I truly do believe now is the right time to focus on just been an artist again, and focus fully on my own development and own sound.
In further regards to this with what made me come to this decision also, i was having recent issues with one of our main artists on EX:Panse "Jo'Nas" who has now left the label in an joint agreement. This was the reason why we remained silent on social media in recent weeks due to Jo'Nas leaving EX:Panse and us waiting for things to blow over. Normally we don't publicly reveal disputes and issues, but seeing as Jo'Nas was an big part of EX:Panse`s success with us last year with his release, instead of sweeping it under the rug and never mentioning him again we thought it would be best to confirm he is no longer on the label and that is the reasoning as to why his music won't be available on any EX:Panse platforms going forward sadly. And due to this happening, episode 4 of EX:Panse:Radio won't be going ahead as it featured his prior release with us (which is no longer on the label) and would be future releases from him which are no longer going ahead on the label. Due to this been the final regular year of EX:Panse for the time being, as of right now EX:Panse:Radio has come to an end.
Though despite 2024 been our final regular year at EX:Panse Records this isn't the end. We will be back one day again, then the time is right. An long hiatus can be an blessing in disguise, especially in regards to renewal of energy, motivation and inspiration. An long rest and break is always an good thing, and can do wonders for creativity. At times, we can't keep going and going and going again. Especially non-stop. An break and rest is needed from time to time to recharge the batteries. And when the time is right, EX:Panse will return. Bigger and better than ever, on an mission to keep electronic music underground with delivering the highest quality underground electronic music possible for House and Techno.
Though, it isn't the end just yet. For 2024, there will still be releases on EX:Panse Records the first of which we will be confirming soon to launch our final regular year with. For this year, we plan on doing an few limited releases with the first been announced soon. And then for 2025 next year, we will be planning an farewell various artists album of every single EX:Panse release from the last 5 years to form an greatest hits album of the label to ensure we go out in style and on an high :) From now until 2025, we will ensure that our remaining releases really push the envelope for underground electronic music trying to push the boundaries of House and Techno even further. The journey isn't over yet. And we hope you can join us for one final ride. And we promise that we will be back in the future to :) x

EX:Panse Records Presents Previews for EXR:013 with UK underground house producer "Jo'Nas" with his debut EX:Panse EP "Fistful Of Bristol" which will be released on EX:Panse Records on August 22rd 2023. From Bristol England, "Jo"Nas" is an minimal house/deep tech producer who has released on labels such as Occupy Records and Kabelkeiste in the past and features on BBC Radio though BBC Radio Bristol with his DJ mixes and music. Having over 30 years DJing experience and held many residencies in Bristol and London working alongside the likes of Alex P, Brandon Block and Lisa Pin-up and many other well known and respected UK DJ’s. Having ran have run several of his own house nights and hosting a regular long running slot on Vybe FM Radio (LONDON), along with several long running residencies mainly in Bristol but also in London, "Jo'Nas" truly is an emerging talent to look out for in the underground house scene.
"Jo'Nas" has many releases lined-up on EX:Panse Records for 2023 as he will be one of the main artists on the label this year. He begins his tenure on EX:Panse Records with the minimal house/deep tech EP "Fistful Of Bristol" out on August 22rd 2023 featuring the underground house smasher "Anon" which will be one of the biggest hits on EX:Panse Records for 2023, whilst featuring the other tracks "Kitwana" and BS2`s "Detonator" with the duo`s Filth Dub Version of this track.

EX:Panse Records is an UK independent underground electronic music label specializing in Techno, focusing on the genres of minimal, electro and techno and is the label of British Techno Producer Funk Rider X who runs the label alongside fellow producers Pete “Blackspark” Ward and Eat The Rainbow. Creating the label in 2020, Funk Rider X has created this record label to truly explore and create endless boundaries within techno, offering an platform for artists of the genre to fully experiment with their productions, been given the opportunity to truly think outside of the box with the no rules method that EX:Panse offers, giving like minded artists the opportunity to truly run wild with their imagination and creativity having a platform to create new, original and unique forms of techno with no restrictions and unlike most majority of labels, been given full creative control and complete freedom to truly express themselves artistically with their vision. EX:Panse Records truly will offer an alternative in the industry, at a time currently when 99% of labels for the most part are following trends and what`s popular with the current beatport top 100, EX:Panse aims to help break this mould giving artists the chance to fully be themselves with their sound with no restrictions or having to fit in with certain trends and giving producers an platform where they can truly create their own vision with their sound without been pigeonholed. EX:Panse will truly offer an alternative for techno and underground electronic music as a whole, bringing something different, original and unique to the electronic music industry giving the newest, up and coming techno producers an platform to truly express themselves and their creations.
EX:Panse Records will serve as the home for Funk Rider X alongside Pete “Blackspark” Ward and Eat The Rainbow, and the label will serve as a platform for the label owner and the label managers for their productions enabling these artists to fully express themselves with their versions of Techno with their creatively, as they set out to create new, original, alternative unique forms of the genre with the label truly giving them the opportunity to fully stamp their authority in the world of techno and electronic music as a whole. EX:Panse will offer an special form of communication that has no barriers or known obstacles that can’t be challenged. Where are “No Rules” with the label and that is the only directive that needs to be mutually agreed on. To chart new direction is an unique art in itself that requires imagination, purpose, and the initiative to sense when the time is right. And this is felt more than ever in the music industry as a whole, and that EX:Panse truly wants to offer with its vision. This artistic right is as partial to any dream or vision than it is to live and breathe. Moving up, out and away is normal in this creative world, even if there is persistent fear, doubt, apprehension and nepotism. It is our human right to express what we feel. And it is this sense of complete artistic freedom and control that EX:Panse Records will offer for electronic music with the label designed to explore the inner and outer sanctums of Techno music with Minimal, Electro, Acid, Deep Progressive Techno, Dark Techno, Industrial Techno, Acid Techno and Hard Edged Techno as well as touching on other genres of Techno with Hi-Tech Soul, Hi-Tech Jazz, Abiment and Industrial music as well as Electronica. EX:Panse truly aims to expand the musical scoop of electronic music, aiming to push Techno to new boundaries with no limits, creating an artistic hub for like minded artists with unlimited creativity and freedom always factored unconditionality of what and how EX:Panse Records release music.
All demos must be mastered, and be in WAV format at 24-34 Bit in 44100 Hhz, 320 Kps in private links.
