We all seek joy in different ways. And we all experience things that we feel rob or delay our joy… Even if only subconsciously, we often live like our joy is on hold until some situation, condition, or circumstance changes.

But God tells us there are truths about joy that we can acknowledge, understand, and apply so that we can consistently experience real joy!

As you choose to trust God, He will help you take the steps to lived the joy-filled life He has for you through each season!

The church cannot accomplish God’s purpose of growth in people’s lives if we are not prioritizing unity.

"Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ. From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work." -Ephesians 4:15-16

Live as a citizen of Heaven! Show by the way that you live that God’s standard of Christ-like character, and love, and unity in Him is worth more than anything else in the whole world!

If you’re going to claim Christ as your King, then standing together with one spirit and on purpose, fighting together for the faith, trumps whatever personal agenda is motivating you to allow division!

“Above all, you must live as citizens of Heaven, conducting yourselves in a manner worthy of the Good News about Christ. Then, whether I come and see you again or only hear about you, I will know that you are standing together with one spirit and on purpose, fighting together for the faith, which is the Good News.” -Philippians 1:27

Anything that causes division in the church today is not of God, won’t be blessed by God, shouldn’t be indulged by people, and is sinful for us to engage in. Above all, live according to your citizenship in Heaven, which demands that unity with other believers be a top priority.

Life is hard! Difficult circumstances come up, things don't go the way we expect, plans fall through.

But as Christians, we aren't called to lived based on our current situation, we're called to trust God knowing that as we obey Him, we will receive what He has promised!

You can live faithful to God’s word, trusting Him in obedience, acting on everything His word says, knowing that He will overflow you with hope as you choose to trust Him!

The decisions we make in life prove what we really believe about God and dictate to what extent we’ll experience the full blessing of joy through the Holy Spirit.

The mouth speaks what the heart is full of, whether good or bad. Have you ever caught yourself saying something, and been like, "Ugh, what was that?" We all have. That comes from the sinfulness planted in our lives and that's why we need real heart transformation, not behavior modification! We are all a work in progress, and God wants to help us make progress! “Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.” -Psalm 139:23-24 You can go to God, ask Him to help you cut the bad out from your heart, and STORE UP GOOD in your life.
