What do touchdowns and tea parties have in common?
Absolutely nothing.
Eleven-year-old football superfan, Hannah Taylor, has watched her friends leave the homeschool group one by one. It was okay, at first, because she always had Beth, her best best friend. They were a team for science experiments, for co-op classes, and on the football field.
But just as they’re starting sixth grade, Beth’s parents put her in private school. Now Hannah is the only middle schooler left in the homeschool group.
She’d better come up with a new play fast. The only kids even remotely close to her age don’t like football, and they don’t play sports.
They play princess.
And they want Hannah to join their team.

This one always flies off the shelf at conventions.
On his first day back to school in 7th grade, Xander Carson discovers a large black dragon blocking his locker. Soon he’s seeing wyverns, wyrms, and other lizard creatures, but no one else seems to notice them at all.
Was he going crazy?
His life was tough enough already. His older brother – his best friend – had been killed in a car accident during the summer.
And now dragons.
Through an unlikely business deal with a nerd named Zayn, Xander discovers that there may be a reason he’s seeing dragons – and these discerning creatures may be just what he needs to solve his paralyzing grief.
But doing the wrong thing could make them disappear, exactly when he’s growing to need them.

Pippen is a 4-1/2 years of sass, cocker spaniel-poodle mix. Technically people in the biz call her a Cockapoo, but we like to call her a cockerdoodle-doo. When we brought all less than 3 pounds of her home, she immediately started bossing around our 90 pound lab like she was the Godmother of the Bow-Wow Mafia...the worst part was that he listened. If she could talk today she'd say, "Well, you were my favorite until you brought that blonde one home. Now, I'm Daddy's girl."

“To Pea, Love Mom”
…reads the necklace twelve-year-old Pea finds stuck high in the willow tree Mom had planted long ago on their ranch. Pea doesn’t know how it got there. If Mom were alive, she would ask her. But when Pea takes the necklace, the tree reveals a secret tunnel to Willowmere—the magical world built by her mom’s stories.
Pea crawls through the tunnel and realizes that Willowmere is crumbling. Frightening dangers lurk behind each tree, and magic is deteriorating into chaos. All she learns seems to contradict everything she knows.
But could Mom still be alive in Willowmere? If Pea can learn to trust her new friends, and harness the power of stories, she might just save the world.
But she’ll have to save herself first.

Boomer was a best friend, brave protector, generous sharer of warm hugs and snuggles. He was a sweet, goofy, distinguished gentleman.
If Boomer could talk, he would let the McKinney family know that he is always with them and his Earth-side life with them was the very best a dog could ask for.
