Hong Kong-born American singer Coco Lee passed away at the age of 48, on July 5, after a su***de attempt.
Coco's sister Nancy Lee shared the heartbreaking news with the world through a lengthy Instagram post. While sharing a montage video, Ms Nancy revealed that Ms Coco was “suffering from depression for a few years.” But over the last few months, her “condition deteriorated drastically”.

Despite the fact that the singer was seeking professional help, Coco Lee attempted su***de on July 2 and slipped into a coma. Ms Nancy's statement read, “With great sadness, we are here to break the most devastating news: CoCo had been suffering from depression for a few years but her condition deteriorated drastically over the last few months.”

The statement added, “Although CoCo sought professional help and did her best to fight depression, sadly that demon inside of her took the better of her. On 2 July, she committed su***de at home and was sent to the hospital. Despite the best efforts of the hospital team to rescue and treat her from her coma, she finally passed away on 5 July 2023.”

TRIGGER WARNING: Mention of possible su***de

ASTRO’s Moonbin passed away on April 19 and was reported to have been found dead by his manager at around 8:10 pm on the same day at the singer’s Gangnam residence. The Seoul Gangnam Police Station which was reportedly contacted immediately by the manager was reported to have said that they suspect the artist ‘took his own life’ and the possibility of an autopsy was being discussed initially. Since then, there has been no update regarding the cause of death of the K-pop singer.

Soon after the reports first broke out, ASTRO’s management agency Fantagio shared an official statement on their social media confirming the tragic news. However in the same statement, the agency asked people to not make speculations about the artist’s death and asked to let the family, fellow ASTRO members and company colleagues mourn in private.

In a follow-up statement, Fantagio confirmed that Moonbin’s funeral would be held in private with only the presence of his family, friends and staff from the agency as requested by the family of the deceased. They added that the funeral procession and burial site will not be revealed publicly so that the bereaved can send off Moonbin in privacy. His family wished for no presence of outsiders or reporters at the site.

In accordance, multiple fans of the artist visited the building of the agency to leave flowers, notes and items that the late star liked. They pasted notes on the company’s entrance door and shared words of support for fellow grieving members. A memorial was said to have been set up by Fantagio near their premises where fans gathered. Fans of Moonbin also visited a bench set up for the ASTRO member in the past as a part of a birthday project.

Last month, Priyanka Chopra Jonas had created a stir when she had talked about leaving Bollywood due to dirty politics, which forced her to pursue a career in Hollywood. In a new interview to a news portal, the global star opened up about eliminating politics and drama and creating a positive workplace environment for outsiders who wish to make it big in the Hindi film industry.

Priyanka acknowledged the fact that the industry has witnessed a significant change in the past 5-10 years. New talents are coming outside the industry, which was not the case when she had first started. She said that there should be conversations around opportunity and workplace and casting should be merit based and no camps should rule casting.

She also added that casting should also depend on the fact who the audiences are wanting to watch. She also expressed her excitement to be able to see new faces from outside of the industry. She credited her generation of actors who fought for it because of which the Hindi film industry has undergone drastic change in its functionality.

Priyanka is all set to headline the international series Citadel. The Russo Brothers approached she with the idea of Citadel five years ago. It was shot for over a year and a half during the pandemic. It will premiere on April 28.

However, it should be noted that DeuxMoi provides a disclaimer that some of her blind items that come through e-mail submissions might be false and should not be believed completely until further proof or validation. Moreover, this particular blind item about Kylie and Timothee came with a gif that said ‘Proceed with Caution’, meaning that this might not be true so must not be taken too seriously.

Despite being a blind item that came with a warning to proceed with caution, fans did not stop themselves from reacting to the information on Twitter. Fans also noted that both Timothee Chalamet and Kylie Jenner will be at Coachella this year. Most fans expressed shock and surprise at the new rumour in town. Take a look below.

Selena Gomez has made Instagram history by being the first-ever woman to reach 400 million followers. On March 18, the 30-year-old pop star achieved the phenomenal record, weeks after dethroning Kylie Jenner. The social media milestone comes less than a month after she surpassed Ms Jenner as the most-followed woman on the social media platform. She is now the third-most-followed person on the platform after football layers Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.

Celebrating the achievement, Ms Gomez shared a heartfelt appreciation post for her fans on Sunday. "Wishing I could hug all 400 million of you," she captioned the post attached with nine images of her interacting with her fans over the years. Currently, she has 401 million followers on the app.

Only two people have more followers than Ms Gomez on Instagram. While football legend Cristiano Ronaldo rules Instagram with 563 million followers, Argentine world-cup-winning footballer Lionel Messi has 443 million followers. Kylie Jenner also has a whopping 382 million fans on the app while the official Instagram account has 619 million followers.

Meanwhile, fans of the singer are overjoyed at the news, proclaiming her 'the queen of Instagram'. One user wrote, ''Once a queen always a queen.'' Another commented, ''blessed to be a part of the 400 million.'' A third said, ''Life rewards good people like you, never allow anyone to turn off your light... you are unique and authentic,'' while a fourth added, ''500 Million we are coming!''

Ariana Grande (361 million), Kim Kardashian (349 million), Beyonce (301 million) and Khloe Kardashian (298 million) are the other women in the top 10 list of most-followed Instagram celebrities.

What will Season 3 be about ?

Season 3 of Shadow and Bone will be inspired by the events in the final book by author Leigh Bardugo. In that novel, Alina, who has attained near-saintlike status, uses her expanding powers as the Sun Summoner to finally defeat the Darkling, with dire ramifications for her allies and the world at large.

Who will be in Shadow and Bone Season 3?

The entire cast is anticipated to reprise their roles. The season boasts of a stellar cast, including Archie Renaux who will be playing the role of Mal, Daisy Head will be seen as Genya, Jessi Mei Li as Alina, Calahan Skogman as Matthias, Sujaya Das Gupta as Zoya, Freddy Karter as Krez, Kit Young as Jesper, Ben Barnes as the Darkling and Amita Suman would be portraying as Inej.

Sadly, the announcement of Shadow and Bone season 3 has not yet been made by Netflix. Season 1 of the show was released in April 2021 and season 2 was just released on March 16, 2023. If maintains its current pace, season 3 might debut in spring 2025.

Selena Gomez recently announced that she is taking a break from Instagram and TikTok, yet again.

The 30-year-old singer has always had a tricky relationship with social media. For the uninitiated, Selena only recently joined Instagram after being away from the platform for several years. However, ever since she joined the ‘gram again, she has found herself in one controversy or the other. The Rare Beauty mogul finally put up a video on TikTok today announcing that she is taking yet another break.

She said, “I'm very happy. I'm so blessed. I have the best friends, the best fans in the whole world and I just couldn't be happier. I'm good. I love who I am. I don't care. I'm big. I'm not. I don't care. I love who I am.” She continued, "And yeah, I'm gonna be taking a second from social media, 'cause this is a little silly."

"And I'm 30, I'm too old for this," she added. "But I love you guys so much. And I will see you guys sooner than later. I'm gonna just take a break from everything."

Die Hard franchise star Bruce Willis, who retired from acting last May as a result of aphasia, has now been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia, as announced by his family in a statement.

"Since we announced Bruce’s diagnosis of aphasia in spring 2022, Bruce’s condition has progressed and we now have a more specific diagnosis: frontotemporal dementia (known as FTD),” his family wrote in a statement on the Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration’s website.

“Unfortunately, challenges with communication are just one symptom of the disease Bruce faces. While this is painful, it is a relief to finally have a clear diagnosis,” his family added. Daughter Rumer Willis also confirmed the diagnosis on her Instagram by sharing a picture of her father and wrote, “Our family wanted to start by expressing our deepest gratitude for the incredible outpouring of love, support and wonderful stories we have all received since sharing Bruce’s original diagnosis."

“In the spirit of that, we wanted to give you an update about our beloved husband, father and friend since we now have a deeper understanding of what he is experiencing,” she continued. “Since we announced Bruce’s diagnosis of aphasia in spring 2022, Bruce’s condition has progressed and we now have a more specific diagnosis: frontotemporal dementia (known as FTD). Unfortunately, challenges with communication are just one symptom of the disease Bruce faces. While this is painful, it is a relief to finally have a clear diagnosis.”

Frontotemporal dementia can be characterized by personality changes, speech difficulty and motor impairment. It’s the cause of 10% to 20% of all dementia diagnoses.”

Bruce Willis started his acting career in the early 1980s with uncredited roles in films such as Sidney Lumet’s The Verdict. His career exploded later that decade after he starred opposite Cybill Shepherd in the ABC series Moonlighting and his performance as John McClane in the 1988 action movie Die Hard, which gave him his first major film franchise.

Singer-actor called out the body-shamers who made comments on her appearance and revealed that she tends to gain “water weight” as a result of her lupus medication. “I tend to hold a lot of water weight and that happens very normally. And then when I’m off of [my medication], I tend to lose weight,” Gomez explained during a TikTok Live on Thursday. “I just wanted to say and encourage anyone out there who feels any sort of shame for exactly what they’re going for and nobody knows the real story.”

“I just want people to know that you’re beautiful and you’re wonderful and yeah, maybe we have days where we feel like s—t but I would much rather be healthy and take care of myself. My medications are important, and I believe that they’re what helps me,” she added.

The Only Murders in the Building star noted that “[I’m] not a model, never will be. I think they’re awesome, mind you, but I definitely, definitely am not that.” She concluded the video addressing her fans as well as non-supporters saying, “I love you guys and thanks for supporting me and understanding. And if not, go away, because honestly I don’t believe in shaming people for their body or anything.”

According to Page Six, in 2014, Gomez received a diagnosis of lupus, which is a persistent autoimmune condition that can result in inflammation, exhaustion, and joint discomfort. In her Apple TV+ documentary, My Mind & Me, she openly discussed the painful effects of the disease.
