One Motlhabakgomo Update.

According to Botswana Police, the key suspect in the murder of One Motlhabakgomo has skipped the country and he is confirmed to be in South Africa.

The police went on to say that it will be difficult for them to repatriate the suspect because legal framework in South Africa cannot allow for his repatriation since it would seek confirmation that he will not be executed even if he is found guilty.

POLICE YET TO CONFIRM WHOSE HUMAN REMAINS BELONG TO

According to Botswana Police Service spokesperson Senior Superintendent Near Bagali, they discovered human remains in a shallow grave in the outskirts of Molepolole and they are yet to confirm whom they belong to. He says an alert was made by a passerby.

He further mentioned that the remains have been taken to Scotish Livingston for analysis by the pathologist to confirm if the DNA matches that of some of the missing people they have been looking for in Molepolole.

He did confirm that the body was found in a bad state and as the police they are awaiting the results to confirm whether that is One's remains or not. The pathology report is expected in the next two days.

Meanwhile there are reports that the found human remains are of the 19 -year -old One Motlhabakgomo who has been missing since November 15. The family members were able to identify her by her clothes.

According to Senior Superintendent Bagali, no arrests have been made so far concerning the found human remains.
