Incumbent Worlds champions EDG kicked out of quarterfinals, 'strongest' team JDG eliminated, the current most dominant region LPL only manage 1 semifinals contender, and now - underdog DRX knocks out LCK's number 1 seed Gen.G

With T1 defeating the expected world champion this year, JDG, and DRX also eliminating Gen.G I guess that means that all bets are off for the finals!

All expectations are broken, all logic gone, and for the Worlds 2022 Finals one thing is true: T1 is once again looming for ANOTHER world championship win!

Once again our finals is 🇰🇷 VS 🇰🇷

THE 2022 SEMIFINALS STARTS IN 3 HOURS!

The League of Legends Worlds '22 starts it's semifinals in typical explosive fashion as two of the best bets to win the Summoner's Cup go head-to-head on the first day! China's 🇨🇳 1st seed and "best" team this year: JD Gaming faces off against worlds' veteran and fan favorite T1 the 2nd seed from Korea 🇰🇷

While it's true that JDG have shown extreme promise and the LPL has taken 3 out of 4 recent Worlds Championships and that T1 was not the most dominant in Korea this year, this is not an entirely new situation! Time and again T1 has adjusted from it's hard regular seasons in their home region only to win it all when it matters!
