Loving her book untamed. So many quotes I could choose from in there that smack you in the face.

This is me as I often will speak my truth which can make people uncomfortable.

But I choose honesty first always. Because integrity is built on trust and trust is built on knowing. So knowing I will always speak my truth, even if it makes you uncomfortable, is more loving and kind than lies of comfort.

Is your Instagram Hashtag strategy not working? 🤨

Or perhaps you have no idea how to use them or what they are even for? 🤷‍♀️

I see so many small business Instagram accounts posting without using any hashtags and its crazy!

Hashtags will get your posts seen by more people and increase your followers, improve engagement rate and help build a community around your business.

**DONT POST WITHOUT THEM**

If you are unsure about which ones to you, click the slides above and then dont forget to hit the SAVE button so you can refer back to it.

Remeber with hashtags....... bigger is not always better.

The more posts a hashtag has the easier it is for your little business to get lost amongst them.

I try to aim for a mix of big and small and relevant to my topic, audience, location and industry.

Do you know how to follow hashtags and find other relevant tags you can use?

Click the search icon, then click into the search bar and type in your tag and then click "Tags" tab.

This is a great way to find out what your competitors are doing too. So for example you could be in the organic skincare business, so you can search or and then look at all the Top Performing Posts or Recent posts.

PS: Hashtag strategy for Facebook is a whole other topic, but in short, if you are asking are they still relevant and do they work on Facebook the answer is YES! They make your posts searchable,. Which in the busy world of social media, where 350 MILLION photos are uploaded EVERY - SINGLE - DAY 😱 , being searchable is gold.

This is for all business owners who are triggered by competition and are too busy worrying about their impact.

This doesn’t mean don’t be aware of what your competition is doing. It means focus on what you’re doing.

So if business is dropping off, ask yourself why and then bring your focus back to how you can improve or serve more.

Some ideas -

💡Value add to your product/service. Free coffee with xx or free xx with any purchase over $$

💡 Review your product / service for tweaks maybe your customers need more variety

💡 Marketing - do you customers know about you? How?

💡 Are you utilising social media so your customers can see you and you stay top if mind 🤔

💡 Create a special promotion or social media competition

💡 Ask them! Ask your customers how you can improve or if they have any feedback and be open to constructive feedback

💡 Are you looking after your existing customers and making them want to keep coming back? Create a Rewards or loyalty program

💡 Create an email promotion to your database - are you reminding your existing customers you are there and all your wonderful products / services.

The list is honestly endless!!

But it’s difficult to work on your business if you are too busy focusing on what everyone else is doing.

So.....bring your focus back, wish your competitors nothing but good will and .........

mind YOUR business!!

If you are not utilising social media effectively in your business you are leaving money on the table. 💰

Consistency is Key 🔑.

Crafting creative content to attract your customers is essential and not everyone wants to constantly see your product posts.

Mix it up.

Give value - entertain - share who you are!

And always use every feature of the platform so you get more bang for your buck!

You don’t need to do it all yourself.

Outsource so you have consistent, dynamic posting that’s growing your account, then you can still pop some additional posts on top.

This way you get the best of both worlds without the stress of trying to come up with constant post ideas.

Leave it to the experts so you can get back to doing what you do best in your business.

Are you utilising Instagram 𝐑𝐄𝐄𝐋𝐒 in your business?

If you’re not, you are leaving $$ on the table.

They are one of the quickest and authentic ways to grow your Instagram following. 🙌🏻

Plus..... if you have set up your 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 / 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝗽 .... you can tag your products so people can click to buy then and there!

Reels or videos don’t have to just be about your business either.
