His show covers the ever controversial Carnivore Diet to fascinating supplements such as Spermidine ….. and everything in between.
Dr. Dennis is Board Certified in Family Medicine and also has Certification in Age Management Medicine. May is now bilaterally bionic, or to quote the pop star Sia: “I am Titanium!” As our daughter said, “50 is now the new 80” and joint replacements are not a “last resort” medical procedure anymore. Thanks to advances in technology and Medicine, patients of all ages are getting joint replacements and regaining their quality of life.
Can you believe May had a hip replacement one week ago and just recorded a podcast?! In 1992 when May had her ACL repaired, the standard of care was one week in a hospital bed! In 2023, you get to walk out of a surgery center hours after a major joint replacement! Technology and rehab has even changed again since her first hip replacement in 2016.
We discuss some of the non-surgical alternative options and causes of joint deterioration other than old age. Learn about advances in the medical field, how robots don’t just clean your floors, and what to expect if undergoing the knife …… or should we say saw!

You asked, so we are bringing it! Today is all about hormones- especially those that impact your quality of life, performance and health.
Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) , specifically questions regarding menopause and testosterone replacement therapies, is one of the most commonly asked questions we get. HRT for menopause has been and still IS a widely debated issue. Will it cause heart disease and cancer or do hormones actually help reduce risk factors and improve quality of life ? Understanding and supplementing women and men with HRT has been something that allopathic physicians struggle with doing well.
Dr. Robert Yoho is back as our guest today. He is a retired cosmetic surgeon with a 30 year career that also included prescribing hormones. He is the author of “Hormone Secrets” that explains his experience in using HRT and how it transformed patients’ lives. He believes that HRT is vastly underused, is generally safe when done correctly and that the health and quality of life benefits exceed most of the risks.

Fear Is No Excuse

Tim is man crushing & fanboying out on this week's epic interview with stuntman Eddie Braun.
Eddie’s life is an example that “fear is no excuse”. He will be the first to tell you that recklessness is different from planned risk. Doing great things is not necessarily about risk, but having the skills to manage your fears. People are often unable to live their dreams, because they are too busy living their fears.

I have a slight obsession with a trainer I follow on Facebook and Instagram. I’ve been following Cori Lefkowith of Redefining Strength for years, enjoying her motivational posts and loving her targeted exercises for my troublesome injuries. She has great rehab advice that I have tried and tested on my numerous Ortho injuries. She has helped me when many PT’s couldn’t even crack the mystery. She posted something a few weeks ago that blew my mind: “Most people fail because of how they try to achieve their goals.” She went on to write that the date at which most people completely quit on their New Year’s Resolutions...is…..?? It’s not the Summer...Or a specific holiday or event… It’s not the middle of February which was my guess. It’s JANUARY 19th! (This date is based on a study done of over 800 million people’s activities in 2019)
Which led me to thinking and asking WHY do people quit so early? What are the stumbling blocks that cause us to give up? How can physicians and other healthcare experts help motivate their patients or themselves even….to realize their fitness and weight loss goals?
Cori oozes with energy and positivity and encouragement. She will tell you, you are NEVER too old, too big, too injured ( insert your excuse) to not achieve your fitness goals!
She’s passionate about what she does and has a massive following on FB and IG to show it. Today we brush the surface on common stumbling blocks like how to stay committed to your workout routine. What causes people to burnout or quit? How to get over the motivation hump and what tricks/tips help people stay consistent.
And then there’s the four letter D word!!!!
Cori’s Bio: Cori Lefkowith is the owner of Redefining Strength. Her company is empowering clients through fitness and nutrition while teaching them to train smarter, not just harder. In our culture of “No pain, no gain” and “more is better,” Redefining Strength is teaching clients a more efficie

Bonnie Koo, MD is here today to discuss Food, Money and Investing in Yourself. The decision to invest in yourself is an important one and often seems difficult to do. What price will you pay in 1, 5, or even 10 years if you don’t invest in yourself today? And it turns out, our thoughts can be similar around money and around food--emotional eating is like emotional spending. A budget feels like a “money diet” according to Dr. Koo, and buying something to feel better is like eating something to feel better. Creating a restrictive budget OR diet creates an impossible situation that sets you up for failure and for you to rebel against it. Learning the skills you need is more important than forcing yourself into these restrictions. Dr. Koo will discuss these topics and share her top money-related tips today.

REM sleep is deep, dreaming sleep, but light sleep is just as important as it gets you to your deeper stage of sleep. Sleep is so crucial, but is unfortunately put on the side lines too often. So, can we naturally reset our bodies in order to get better sleep? What’s going on in our minds creating fear and anxiety that’s keeping us from sleeping? Getting support and reframing the “middle of the night,” negative thoughts is a good place to start. What are some tools to help with that? How do we get out of our brains and let our bodies get the sleep they need? Devin will share some helpful tips during today’s episode.
