Thank you—thank you for all of the stories you haven’t told yet. The countless vulnerable moments, the triumphs, the fears, and the dreams still waiting to find their voice.

Here’s to a year of listening, storytelling, and growing together.

We’re ready. And we’re so grateful you’re here to be part of this journey. January 6, 2025—it all begins.

Let’s make it extraordinary.

Remember iPods? Dr. Mike Woo-Ming does—it’s how his podcasting adventure began. Blogging felt like pulling teeth, so he swapped the keyboard for a mic and found magic in the mundane—long commutes and stuck-in-traffic listeners turned into a loyal audience.

Now he’s inspiring docs to think bigger, dream louder, and share boldly.

Got a story? Forget the blog. Grab a mic.

Start messy. OR, start with us!

Your first few episodes won’t be perfect—and that’s OK!” – Dr. Jimmy Turner

When Dr. Turner launched his podcast in 2020, he knew one thing for sure: your first few shows are going to feel a little...awkward when you listen back a few years later.

And you know what?

That’s not just normal—it’s necessary.

Growth doesn’t come from waiting for perfection. It comes from starting.

Ever fantasized about being so prepared for a hike that you could fashion a splint from twigs and spit? Well, pull up a log and get ready to take notes from the guru of the great outdoors, Dr. Richard Ingebregtsen, affectionately dubbed Dr. Rich. He's the kind of doctor who makes MacGyver look like he's playing survival games on easy mode.

Dr. Rich's entry into the world of wilderness medicine sounds like it was directed by Spielberg himself. With a background that dances from physics to internal medicine, he's the Swiss Army knife of doctors—a man who decided that the wild was too great to leave to the wild. Imagine, if you will, a professor stepping out of the lecture hall, grabbing a compass and a kayak, and whispering, "It's time."

In the chronicles of Dr. Rich, every piece of advice comes with a wink and a nod to the absurdity of nature's challenges. For starters, he champions the noble act of toenail clipping—not as a mere act of hygiene, but as a strategic move against the tyranny of tight boots and rogue rocks.

It’s clear that Dr. Rich treats his first aid kit with the reverence others might reserve for a fine wine collection.

There's the expected—gauze, bandages, and antiseptics—but then he reveals his ace: a vial of lidocaine.

Because why not perform impromptu surgery under the stars?

And, of course, duct tape, the universal solution to, well, everything.

Lost a button?

Duct tape. ✅

Torn tent?

Duct tape. ✅

Existential crisis?

Maybe not duct tape ❌ , but Dr. Rich would probably give it a shot.

I enjoyed this converstation. Maybe you will too? https://buff.ly/3voip2a

The other day I met with someone who was SO frustrated because it felt like everything in her life was working against her goals.

She has a demanding job … her family life is hectic … AND she is taking on some new responsibilities with her aging parents.

"There is absolutely no time for ME," she told me.

And you know what? She’s right. She has a TON on her plate.

So I suggested she make a mindset shift … and CUT HERSELF SOME SLACK.

Which can be incredibly hard to do.

It’s not about being "on" or "off" her health routine. Instead, it’s about doing the best she can RIGHT NOW.

Over the long run, it’s your everyday habits that have the biggest impact on your health.

This is NOT an all or nothing thing.

It's time to banish "all or nothing" thinking and always do what you can and be kind to yourself when you're not doing everything you'd hoped.

The secret to habit success is being CONSISTENT, not being perfect.

Trying to be perfect is what gets us in the "all or nothing" trap that keeps us from doing what we can to at least be consistent.

Habits like:
Making healthy food choices.
Choosing activity when possible (walks, brief exercise sessions).
Getting your mindset in line with your goals, and reinforcing them every day.
Getting 7-8 hours of sleep a night, with better sleep and more refreshed mornings.

All of these actions will add MORE to your life. Even if you don't do as much as would be "ideal."

More energy … less stress … more vitality to take on each and every day, feeling strong and empowered.

It’s also a great time to hire a coach.

Our clients don't feel nearly as overwhelmed because they have our experts showing them how to integrate healthy lifestyle and weight loss into their daily busy lives. And do it in a SUSTAINABLE way.

When you’re facing challenges, you need support, accountability, and a troubleshooter who can step back and see the big picture …

… and help you come up with solutions that work with your schedule & goals.

That's why our Weight Wellness program is so focused on excellent coaches and a manageable lifestyle.

Our coaches help keep you on track when life gets crazy! It’s not about working harder or longer … it’s about working smarter.

By working with your life instead of against it (and with your mind and biology instead of against it)...
.. they help you make magic happen.

So you have more energy, more focus, get more done, have more time, and feel more positive and confident.

This bleeds into every area of life, and is absolutely powerful for your weight and health.
