Knoxville TA and Jackson, GA TA update: Sadly we removed our 12 year old IdleAir location from the TA in Knoxville. This site saved drivers more than 1mm gallons of diesel waste over the years. We had to notify drivers that were already hooked up.

Jackson, GA still has another month to go and it has steadily been serving approximately 10 customers/day all summer. We are helpless - even offering to allow the landlord to keep all profits just so that drivers can have access to this important Atlanta area location. We're open to suggestions - including future alternative locations, but it is very expensive to replace this infrastructure.

We regret to inform the Trucking and Sustainability Communities that after more than 11 years of operation and more than 1mm gallons of diesel saved, both of our popular locations at TA Jackson, GA and TA Knoxville, TN have been sold. The new landlord wishes to terminate our leases this summer, so we will be shutting down operations at TA Knoxville by September 5th and TA Jackson by October 5th. Thank you professional drivers for your many years of patronage! We will continue to operate the rest of our 45 location network while we seek replacements for these two popular facilities along the I-75 corridor. Pilot in Newnan, GA, Exit 41 on I-85 and Flying J in Dalton, GA, exit 326 on I-75, have plenty of clean, fresh AC and DirecTV to keep you comfortable and entertained this Summer.

We are mourning the sudden loss of our fellow team member and friend, Debbie McDavid. As Site Manager of our Newnan, GA location, Debbie did an incredible job helping customers and maintaining our location. She will be missed dearly. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends.
