The accused has a standing warrant for R**e issued by Presiding Judge Maria Dee Seares of Family Court, Branch 6, Mandaue City, Cebu, with no recommended bail.
“The arrest of most wanted persons in the region is another notable achievement of PRO7 against wanted persons. There is a lot of work that still needs to be done. The good news is, as I took the role, my strategic framework, the 4Cs will be our guide with the full support of the community and other agencies in apprehending wanted criminals in the region and bringing them all to folds of justice. We underscored the value of connectivity as we get to engage the community in our intelligence gathering so we can easily track the wanted persons. This is in line with the national mandate of our PNP Chief, Gen. Rodolfo Azurin Jr. which is tulong-tulong tayo sa laban sa kriminalidad,” said PBGen Alba.

The suspects are under the custody of the police for documentation, before presentation and return of the warrants of arrest to the court of origin.

LTO 7 readies personnel for 'Oplan Biyaheng Ayos' for All Souls Day

Land Transportation Office (LTO) 7 is set to launch its Oplan Biyaheng Ayos for All Souls Day 2022 in light of the observance of All Souls, Saints Day this year.

LTO 7 regional director Victor Emmanuel Caindec said that while all agencies under the Department of Transportation (DOTr) will be on heightened alert, their personnel will also make sure that public utility vehicle (PUV) drivers are roadworthy in traveling to the different provinces in Central Visayas.

The director added that they have always been supportive of their partner agency Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) in the implementation of Oplan Biyaheng Ayos, especially to celebrations as such.

"We are expecting that passengers will flock to the bus terminals as early as Friday, October 28 after President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr., declared October 31 as a special non-working holiday.

President Marcos declared on Tuesday, October 18, an additional holiday for the Filipinos under Proclamation No. 79 which states that October 31, Monday will be a non-working day throughout the country.

Aside from the Malasakit Help Desk that will be set up by LTO 7 at the different bus terminals, the agency will also be conducting terminal inspections, roadside operations, checkpoints, and patrolling the main highways and strategic locations to ensure that motorists and the general public remains compliant to the traffic laws.

RD Caindec also said that they will be working with the transport groups in making sure that PUVs are in compliance with the laws by doing a checklist of requirements by the agency.

Likewise, informative leaflets will also be given to the passengers, conductors, and drivers to educate them on LTO special laws while en route to their respective destinations.

A special hotline number, which will be announced soon, will be activated by the agency so that the public can directly contact should they need the assistance of the agency.

The Oplan Biyaheng Ayos is an inter-agency initiative of the DOTr and its umbrella agencies in making sure that the public will have a smooth and orderly trip, especially during long holidays within the country.

Aside from October 31, All Saints' Day which falls on November 1 will also be a special non-working day while All Souls' Day on November 2, Wednesday will be a special working day./PR
