With school starting back for many and work schedules gearing up for a busy fall, we’re pretty sure we blinked and summer blew right by us without warning 💨

We will say, the warm weather didn’t forget to stick around ☀️😅

Overall, there’s been such a sweet relaxation to our summer months that we could not be more grateful for and working with you all made it even more special.

We are now gearing up for a busy September wedding month and cannot wait to get back into the wedding season rhythm.

For now, we’re gonna enjoy the remainder of August and these warm (hot) summer days trying not to melt away 🫠

This was our first time at and we can honestly say we were in awe of its beauty 👏

Happy Friday friends ☀️

What a full week we’ve had! Our schedules were full, but our hearts are fuller. 🩵

During the busyness of our week, we had a chance to slow down and photograph this lovely couple on the water.

The lighting, their smiles, and the the sweetest pup made for some magical engagement photos 🪄 Capturing your love stories is such an honor & we love being a small part in your journey.

This past Friday was one of the most beautiful nights of the summer. And we had plans to shoot & on the southend of Wrightsville Beach. Naturally, we couldn’t find parking.

So we pivoted to the northend marsh did not disappoint. And we ended up finding parking thank to one of our former couples freeing up a spot for us!

What a way it worked out. Today we’re grateful for plans changing and being interrupted. And for & freeing parking for us.

•Hikin’ •Splorin’ •Runnin’

This is family life at its finest. With the Helms we asked them to do things that they would just normally do without us there to capture some special moments of “mundane” life.

But thing is…. Life isn’t mundane when you live like this.

Little secret this some of our family. And going to shoot them gave us an excuse to see them and spend a sweet weekend in Boone with them.

Saturday as our night faded we stayed up on their front porch and the lightning bugs put on a show for us. It was good for the soul. It was a relaxing weekend.

Helms, we love you. Thanks for letting us capture some memories.

I (Ben) was recently invited out to shoot at one of the most famous golf courses in the world. Pinehurst #2.

This was something new for me. But it was quite the privilege. I’ve never been a golfer but being on this beautiful course gave me an entire new perspective for the sport. I also had a great time with the guys. Here are some of my favorite shots from the day! Enjoy

I love the idea of saving your bridal bouquet flowers in resin after the big day so they become a part of your home 🥹

We used dried palm leave bouquets for our wedding and the bouquets are now in vases in our room.

It’s such a beautiful & simple way to honor your day and make them a part of your decor. 🤍
