An amendment: Not talking about troublesome things represents an acceptance. Yes, I’m weird and I find creepy s**t fascinating but I will never apologise for it. As someone who is comfortable in exploring topics others are afraid to (and subjecting my poor victims...I mean guests) I want to explore such things to try and understand and shed light so hopefully such things will never happen again.

So, going forward, Eddie and I are going to finish off the episode on the Wests, but I’ll be releasing it later on in my schedule. You foolish mortals deserve to have the REALLY dark s**t built up to!

And quickly, a huge thanks to the beautiful Emma Bashforth for reminding me plenty of other freaky podcasts are still going and so that’s what I’m going to do! Hopefully BOTH the first two episodes will be up by Monday!

Hey all, just a quick update. So far, I’ve been able to record 1.5 episodes, the .5 due to technical problems which can’t be helped but will 100% be returned to...however, the topic of this particular episode was scheduled to be about Fred and Rose West. Obviously NOT a cheery subject,hence why I asked my brilliant best friend Eddie O'Keeffe to help me out as my guest and I believe we were doing our absolute best to keep one of the darkest stains on UK history informative and informal.

I don’t think I could have picked a worst time in history to be trying to launch a podcast that plumbs the depths of human depravity and the darkest areas of the paranormal. My goal is to inform and hopefully entertain people on something they might not know much about or enjoy discussing and only ever to give an illicit chill of spookiness, importantly never trying to glorify or pass over any real world horror.

But I know that right now, people need hope and as many things to lift up their spirits as they can find and I don’t know if it’s the right thing to do to release it. I don’t want people to be feel any worse than we already are.

1st world problems over. Thanks for reading 🖤

Cat’s out of the bag now! Nothing can hold Pumpkin back! Since receiving the very lovely gift of my very own microphone from Sit-Canned co-host Eddie, I decided that now was the time (you know, we’ve got a lot more of it on ours hands now) to launch my own podcast series!

Each episode will be me and a guest(s) exploring one particular area of All Things Dark And Distasteful! No one is going to be an expert on anything we cover, it’s just going to be a chance to hear and informal but hopefully informative discussion about anything creepy!

Hopefully going to have a different guest(s) each time and may well pick on people from my close circle of friends to drag to the dark side for 50mins or so!

Only the primer/introduction episode is up for now but soon you’ll be getting a deliciously devilish double bill of episodes and from then on, uploads are regularly as possible!
