Designer has transformed a Barilla box of pasta into a fashionable mini bag.

Bentel stated that he got the inspiration during the pandemic. And that the goal of this design is to inspire a bit of thought and reflection on being able to create something unique and impressive from ordinary everyday items.

The limited-edition bag is available on the artist's website for $199. Is it giving you Moschino vibes too?👇

Sustainable design startup (re)ˣ has created an eco-friendly hanger made of 100% recycled plastic collected from the oceans.

The company sources the multi-layer plastics from beach clean-ups and local recycling efforts in South Africa, recycling all types of discarded products that usually end up in the beaches and oceans.

Moreover, their packaging is hand-printed and assembled by a single moms group in South Africa.

There are a lot of things we can do to achieve a sustainable wardrobe, but probably the most important one is taking care of our clothes. Check out these tips! 👇

1️⃣ Use a delicates laundry wash bags
2️⃣ Wash them less
3️⃣ Don't dry clean them so often
4️⃣ Handwash those delicate pieces
5️⃣ Wash dark clothing inside out
6️⃣ Don't use hangers for knitted items, fold them instead
7️⃣ Avoid ironing them by using hangers while drying them (too much heat can hurt them in the long-term)

If you ask me today who do I consider to be a lucky person, I will respond “the one who knows how to sew”. The old pair needle and thread seems to be a lost craft that belonged to elderly generations (and fashion design students).

But fortunately ーand thanks to social media as wellー more and more people are learning how to fix their clothes, upcycle them into new ones and DIY them from scratch.
rd saw the opportunity to make a business out of it, and we love it.
