Temples, national parks, and some entertainment and attraction venues have signs at their entrances advertising a higher price for foreigners than local Thais. Often, this is advertised discretely in Thai numbers instead of Roman numbers. Sneaky sneaky! =)))

Thai Immigration officials are warning foreigners on short-term visas that they must make arrangements to leave the country before September 26. A visa amnesty in place as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic was recently extended until that date, but it looks like authorities want to make clear there will be no further extension, except in the case of illness or other mitigating circumstances.

By “New Normal Rules” each bar and restaurant should to cooperate with social distancing or provide partitions and limit tables to parties of five. All musicians required to wear face masks except for vocalists. Visits to a number of downtown bars and venues found face shields, social distancing and limits on table seating. Wich looks unbelievable for most of Bangkok bars who weren’t care held to the same standard. Therewith a little to no social distancing observable. Same as politely ask intoxicated patrons not to stand up and dance

Bangkok’s many eateries, which reopened in May after being shut down for more than a month, are allowed to serve alcoholic drinks again, and there is no longer a curfew constraining late-night dining
