Horrors of Eldercare! An uneven film where the biggest mystery is the nature of the strained relationships between the 3 main characters, the Daughter(Maiden), Her mother(Mother) and the Grandmother(Crone). other mysteries include a haunted window, gaslighting post-it notes, and the bog mummy in us all. Scenes begin and then end without resolution (grandma is missing, you hear sounds in the attic. check it out? No, just goto bed at 7pm like the scene is over and don't even wonder about it tomorrow morning? odd choice.) the real genius of the film is the labyrinthine set piece in the final act, where characters behave appropriately when confronted with a literal metaphor of getting old. art direction and set design really make that part something special calling to mind "Im Thinking of Ending Things" overall its just OK. - Andy Relic
