I'm excited to be turning inward as the seasons change. I really need to spend some time using the tools I have and rediscovering myself post-baby.

This quote was shared by my coach today and I love it!

🚗A totalled car might be a blessing or a curse depending on who you ask and when.
🪨 A rock might be the perfect foundation for building or a damn in the river you need for crops to grow.
💐 A bouquet might be a romantic gesture or an allergy nightmare.

The car is still a car. The rock is still a rock. The flowers are still flowers. Our thoughts bring them to life.

Who should you believe?

Our conscious mind is analytical, logical and controlled while our unconscious mind is unlimited, feeling, and intuitive.

The trick to change is getting in communication with the unconscious mind ( sometimes called subconscious).

How many things can you imagine that your conscious mind thinks you cannot do? .

When entering the relaxed state of hypnosis you bring the beliefs of the unconscious mind into conscious outcomes.

Some days are just hard. And that's okay. We fall flat on our face sometimes. We are overwhelmed and emotional. It's part of the ride.

If I'm honest, motherhood has been 1000 times harder than I could ever have imagined and I'm envious of those who seem to be handling it with grace and taking on more and more.

I consider myself a strong and persistent person, very capable of facing challenges, but this one is unlike anything else. AND I know I have to just ride the flow of it.

Having the mental and emotional tools to handle hard situations doesn't mean they don't impact you, just that you find your way through a little easier (hopefully).

The 3 things that start to shift the dial for me when I'm struggling are:

Gratitude
Being in an inspiring community
& Physical movement

What are your go-to strategies for getting out of a hard place?

✨ I truly love seeing this process in action. Many of my coaching clients have had turbulent and even abusive childhood which have deeply impacted their lives.

✨ One of the major processes we do in this work is letting go of the baggage around negative emotions and tapping into the client's innate inner wisdom.

✨ It's truly magical yet surprisingly simple. I'm a believer that healing doesn't have to be a lifelong process. We can cut the cord on what's keeping you stuck if you truly want it.

Building a family together is certainly a wild ride and I couldn't ask for a better partner in that journey.

We are lucky to both come from loving families but it doesn't matter what your history is, you can choose to write a new chapter for your family.

I'm absolutely in love with my .inc swag!!

I used to think being ambitious was a bad thing because I could only associate it with people climbing to the top on the backs of others to get their fancy car ( yuck). That totally isn't me.

But you know what? I am ambitious. I have big dreams and I want to have big impact on the world in a meaningful way.

Sometimes those dreams feel like a fantasy, especially in the overwhelm of motherhood. But they're just a reality I haven't settled into yet. They're on the way. For you too!

Success and failure are just words we've created to explain certain conditions. But 'failure' is just information. It means what you did didn't get the result you wanted.

Failure gives you information on what you can change whether it's in business, relationships, fitness or anything else.

Failure is an equation. Solve for X. What didn't work? How can it be changed next time for a different result.

If you learn the history of almost any invention there were countless 'failures' before the finished product was achieved, but those inventors took the feedback and kept tweaking their idea until it was perfect.

It's super easy to get discouraged and disappointed when things don't work out the way we expect and that's ok. Hopefully this reframe helps you see something you're sticking with in a new way.

Sometimes we aren't ready to change and that's ok. I'm there myself right now. ⬇️

I'm 4.5 months postpartum and very unhappy with my body, but I also know I'm not willing to put in the effort or take certain steps to do anything about it....right now.

There will be a time for that, but for now, if I'm complaining I acknowledge that the results I'm getting are consistent with the action ( or lack of action) I'm taking now.

And sometimes people just find more joy from complaining than actually solving the issue, and that's ok too, just know that it isn't anyone else's fault.

What you surround yourself with bleeds into your unconscious habits, so uplift yourself with confident words, thoughts and people who spend their energy on growth over fear.

Yes my computer is great for the bulk of the work but my ideas start coming to life on paper first.

👋Let me introduce myself! I'm Emily Rose Jackson, a Coach certified in Neuro Linguistic Programming and Modern Hypnotherapy.

I'm originally from New Jersey, and have been on Long Island for 13 year now. I'm a mama to a sweet 4 month old, who you'll probably see a lot of, and married to my amazing husband since 2019.

🤱 That picture is me back in 2022 ( all well rested, newly certified and pre-baby).

I've been a licensed massage therapist for the last 10 years and experienced so much about the physical effects of emotions on the body by doing that work. In 2021 I took a hypnotherapy course that connected the missing pieces about the mind body connection and launched me into a certification in NLP ( Neuro Linguistic Programming).

🎣 I was hooked after watching someone live in our training go from obsessing over Mountain Dew to hating even the smell of it in about 5 minutes ( ask me about that some time).

Hypnotherapy and the NLP model to me was the missing 'evidence' for understanding what every massage therapist understands innately. I like to call it the science of manifesting because it helps clearly explain why we get what we focus on.

🧠I've transformed my life using mindset and language tools that are practical and actually work. I've learned to set better boundaries, manage anxiety and overwhelm and direct my life instead of letting it direct me! And that's exactly what I want for you too.

Taking responsibility for your life doesn't invalidate your trauma or make someone else's behavior right.

It does however, give you the option to free yourself from living that pain over and over.

One of my clients was so angry at her family for how they treated her growing up that it was very disruptive to her life and family dynamics. Even talking about them got her furious!

By the end of our coaching together she was able to sit back and acknowledge that they are just people doing the best they can and it has nothing to do with her! She didn't have to forgive them or involve them in her process in any way because the problem was only in her perception.

Gratitude has been on my mind a lot lately. I'm grateful that so many people in my life love our little guy and are helping him in so many ways. I'm grateful that I have a brick and mortar business that I can afford to only be present at very part time and I'm grateful I get to spend so much of these early days with my son.

I admit I've fallen off my daily gratitude journal but these thoughts are ever present in my mind.
