It was reported a goods truck had overturned at Active Hill, Castries leaving three individuals injured. One individual was said to be trapped in the vehicle. The Royal Saint Lucia Police Force (RSLPF) is investigating the discovery of a male body found in an abandoned building on Wednesday 14th June, 2023 at about 1:00 pm. The body was said to be found with blood and indications of violence on it, in an abandoned building that was used during the Roseau Dam construction located in Marigot. Residents believe the discovery is linked to the sounds of gunshots heard on Tuesday evening. Police are continuing their investigations into this discovery. Emergency personnel attached to the Vieux Fort Fire Service received a call for assistance at about 2:20 pm on Thursday 9th June, 2023 in regards to a suspected drowning at Coco Dan Beach, Vieux Fort. Marine Police retrieved the body of the male said to be in his late twenties from the ocean at about 4:00 pm.
