Today marks 1 year since we lost Andrew Douglas George, a man whose life was a remarkable journey of service, talent, and friendship. From his days at the Australian Defence Force Academy to his deployment in East Timor with 6RAR Infantry as a Captain, Andrew exemplified unwavering bravery and dedication to his country. His path and passion later led him to the world of film, where he contributed to the acclaimed movie ‘Danger Close - The Battle of Long Tan’.

Andrew’s commitment to his craft and colleagues was unwavering, as evidenced by his pivotal role at Lunacraft Productions, where he championed our crew and brought characters to life with his talent and charisma onscreen. Today, as we honor Andrew’s memory on this solemn anniversary, we are reminded not only of his professional achievements but also of the laughter he shared, the courage he embodied, and the profound impact he made on each of our lives. May he rest in peace, his legacy enduring in our hearts forever.

Our members at Touchstone Independent Film Festival were truly inspired by ( ) Sheree’s strength, resilience and grace . To share such a personal part of her life with us all..her grief.. her heart wide open for all of us to feel,we felt this film deserved Honorable Mention and we are honored to share such a beautiful and heartfelt film
Thank you .decarvalho for bringing Sheree’s story to light. and bringing awareness to mental health, su***de and HPPD. A beautiful tribute to her late son Joseph Atkins. 💙

We’ve been loving #TheLastOfUs on Binge! And it’s got us all nostalgic about the time we produced Rooster Teeth’s Immersion: The Last Of Us episode when the crew toured Australia for RTX Sydney #waybackwhen in 2017. Our team at Lunacraft Productions adapted one of the most memorable and intense moments of the game. And what better way to celebrate, than with the Australian premiere of The Fabelmans, by our favourite filmmaker, Steven Spielberg. Our trailer, and key art design, captures the vivid imaginations at work in the 2022 program - a impressive line-up that includes 10 features and 50 shorts worldwide, in addition to our huge Australian contingent. Furthermore, the festival will hold special screenings of Brainstrom (1983) and Star Trek II: The Wrath Of Khan (1982). From August 25-28, Event Cinemas will roll the line-up out across the country - first from the flagship venue in Sydney, then at seven other sites across the country over the weekend of September 2-3. A Voyage Into Dreams

Based in Sydney, LUNACRAFT PRODUCTIONS is a creative studio and an independent production company supported by a growing team of passionate storytellers and talented artists, specialising in films and content.

​Founded in 2015, our first micro short film, Lost & Found, won the inaugural Dolby Sound Challenge which was mixed in the fully immersive new technology, Dolby ATMOS at Soundfirm Melbourne and earned us a voyage to the Dolby Suites Hollywood where we worked alongside Senior Dolby Engineers utilising innovative technologies, such as Dolby Atmos and Dolby VISION at Dolby Laboratories in Hollywood, Los Angeles.

​Both locally and internationally recognised from our contributions and co-productions on web series and digital content, to our 48 Hour International Short Film, Flytrap - a short thriller made under 48 hours, officially selected and screened at the 2019 48ISFF Awards Ceremony at the Directors Guild Of America in Hollywood, and Lenny - a short comedy currently winning hearts across festivals, most notably shortlisted at the 2019 Tropfest and nominated for Best Film from over 130 entries worldwide at the 2019 Heart Of Gold International Film Festival. LUNACRAFT PRODUCTIONS has achieved strong results from low budgets and is currently developing feature films and a cinematic slate of locally and internationally produced content, including their first venture into fan film territory with A Blaster In The Right Hands - A Star Wars Story.
