* LISTEN NOW * Remaster: 'Deliberation' 2020's track from the debut EP by MK Street Poetry.

Heavy with alternative hip hop influences such as The Pharcyde, though no less inspired by old funk and soul such as Sly Stone, as well as the blues-inspired alternative classic rock of Jimi Hendrix; MK Street Poetry is built around the guitar. To combine a love of instrumental performance equal to that of production and spoken word based ideas, Flo developed a method to both play guitar riffs and rap at the same time, and in practicing these skills has built into his creative process a way of looking at music beyond the reliance on DAWs, loops and sample packs.

Hip Hop & Blues Commentary from MK Street Poetry .

Writing on the way to his daily grind, Flo had thought he’d seen all the world had to throw.. alas; a bucket of water over his head later he woke to realise the path stepped had led him to be stuck fast. Now with only hope to keep above water he uses all strength and faith in Jah to guide his journey back to safer foundations..
