Hey guys! It's been a while 😊! With the year closing off it's a great time to go back to the basics of your Instagram marketing strategy to kick off 2023 in a strong and meaningful way.

Hashtags are still one of the fundamental ways to get discovered on Instagram. They also help Instagram know what type of category you should be placed in and who it should send your account to if you end up on an explore page.

There is no golden rule on the number of hashtags whether is 3, 5 10 or all 30. I really haven't noticed a difference. But types of hashtags help you immensely. Always try to use hashtags that are below 1 mil, but above 50 to 100 thousand uses. Using hashtags over the 1 mil isn't a complete no no but you can get lost really fast. So use them sparingly. 😁

I always say the followers will come. Because ultimately followers do not directly translate into clients or sales. Sometimes they simply love what you’re putting out there and choose to follow you. Sometimes that is the only way they can show their support.

Always focus on ensuring your business online presence is something you can be proud of. It’s reputation, it’s over look/aesthetic and it’s reliability. Once all 3 of those are in good standing the growth will come. A good IG strategy won’t hurt as well 😏

Sometimes your best customers have no idea what social media even is lol. You’re the one who decides your worth but please don’t let it be followers, they come and go. You and your business will be fine regardless. 😊💙

Hey guys! I know I’m late with this one but I wanted to catch you up with some of Instagram’s latest updates.

Instagram head announced 4 new features that are built for creators that can but can also be implemented into your overall Instagram strategy.

✅ 90 second Reels
Before you were limited to 60 second reels to get your message across. Now you get an extra 30 seconds to play with and share with your audience.

✅ Interactive Stickers in Reels
Just like in stories you can now put polls, quizzes, emojis sliders and more.

✅ Import your Own Audio in Reels
You can now import your own audio from videos in your gallery and use audio from that.

✅ Grid Pinning
You can now pin up to 3 posts to the top of your profile. This one of my favorite features! I will do a separate post to let you know the possibilities.

Hey guys! I know it’s been a while! Lol I had to take Social Media purge here for a while even if I manage social media accounts for a living! 😂

Once in a while you got to do it just so that you can maintain some level of sanity. Because I am constantly on social media looking up new trends updates etc you can sometimes get lost. Detached from real life when you keep seeing how everyone else is living theirs.

It’s something I definitely recommend doing from time to time. A break from social media can help with burn out and overwhelm as well. The length of time fully depends on what you feel comfortable with. It shouldn’t matter whether you are using it for business or personal reasons. Your mental and physical state comes first. Your followers will come and go but you at least need to give them the best of you right.

That being said I am back full time here until another well deserved break. Here to provide you with the latest trends, updates, services we provide and more social media wise!
