Rapport

How the two families
Came in contact
Nobody knows
It is often said
But ‘He’ knows
God above…
His hard disk is amazing
Awesome…
You have merits and demerits
It doesn’t matter
I welcome you
With all my heart and
with my whole being
And you know
Feeling will transmit
But, I would like to say
Only this……that
I shall always be, as I am
And please, don’t forget my
Mood swings
That’s it…..
Love you all
God Bless you….!!

(Transcribed into English by Dr. Deepti Gupta)
Original poem in Hindi by Mr. Lalit Lalitya

A Sea change

A lot changes
Before time and after time
The cycle of life indicates this
That the change is destined
You may consider it happiness
Or, you may take it as misery
It depends on you.
You have to cover up
The distance between the two
At times laughing happily
And, at times unwillingly
Just think over it……
Why the birds have
Disappeared from the metropolis
And honesty too…..
Both are not seen anywhere
Still. the life goes on…
Without the birds
and without the Honesty
Still, there are people
Who belong to
Honest category
Because of such people
The existence is intact
It is going on
Got it…? Moshai Babu
I am saying all this to you….!!

BABY YAĞIZ

My daughter became a mother. The maiden
Milk streamed out
Streamed thrice
I saw my very own eye
Saw it in the milk

Baby Yağız, I uttered, Baby Yağız
You suckled. Your maiden mouth is warm now, I assume
As warm as a bird nest
Your slumbers are to fly off from there
It is where your cries are going to feed you

Welcome, Baby Yağız, welcome
I uttered that Thrice
Milk was between the three of us
Between the three of us
I saw my very own eye.

THE WAY

I walked towards home
I looked at the workers’ sky
With whatever blue words I found

Neither the dynamite language of the ruling
Or my weariness from other daytimes
Nor the pain of distant news
Could spoil this purity

I, too, shouted
With my mind’s voice
- You
Deserved to be yourself

I marched on
I shouted

IT'S WELL-KNOWN THAT

It’s well-known that
In accordance with all laws of nature,
Water is unseen and dead
On entering the supply network.

And waits to be rescued until
It starts flowing through pipes.
Water, like the language of poetry,
Can’t live in captivity.

It’s devoted to flowing,
To pressure hidden in the chest.
And always beats its way
Out of any kind of captivity.

And if you take a look at water,
Compare it to our own meagre experience:
As soon as it breaks loose into freedom,
Water becomes alive.

WORD AND MUSIC

Do you hear the cricket start
The song on the lyre is baked.
No matter how cruel the world is,
Words and music are eternal.

We were born to be lost.
Vanish in the endless darkness
Fame, wealth, and power.
Words and music are eternal.

How can we live on earth
Simply, slowly, cordially?
In a world of evil,
Words and music are eternal.

Life fit into seven notes.
But in a hurry fleeting
Everything in this world will pass.

Midst of Spring

Strong winds
Paste peach flower petals
On the ground

Still Celebrating New Year

After my last piece of preserved fruit
I stand up to wind up the clock
Gladiolus flowers in full bloom

Spring Sun

Drops its breasts
Dangling down
To newly budding seeds

A Glimpse of Spring

A buffalo calf has passed by
A patch of young grass has disappeared
A boy has spilled honey

Only a fragment

Only a fragment
When I go ahead
To observe the cries,
Blinding lights
After the eyes are extinguished
The torments that
Sublime complains
Voices calls to the
Person who loves
Passing the time away
That is only a fragment.

In the fire

The hearts remained empty.
The opened book,
That expresses the torments.
Life is never to end.
The beginning existence,
From the ancient time found again.
Alone in the ocean,
I tried to find you but without.

A luz

ese planeta que comenzaría a faltar;
Ahora no encuentro música
que me explique su ausencia.
Cuento las estrellas,
no paso de mil.

Vuelo

Hasta las plantas de la casa
se agotaron en su encierro
y echaron piernas,
donde había niños;
no me sorprende esa actitud,
no hay ser que soporte
tanto claustro.
Lo preocupante es
que algunas están entablando
correspondencia con los pájaros,
volvieron a escribir cartas
como era en un principio.
Cuando todo pase no sé
con qué argumento
las traeré a tierra,
a maceta, a balcón,
cómo haré
para que olviden sus alas.

Devendra Shukl

-Two poems-

Journey in Silence

Intense river of ice
I feel around me
All the time ..
And suddenly
I freeze my identity..
As if constrained tightly
Some times a trace of life
Flickering in me, I feel..
And..I shudder...
The stony ice
Becomes fossils for me,
Some times it takes
A form of soil ,
Eaten by white ants.
When I press my
Ice -covered clothes ..
There oozes, such strangeness ,
That my ground becomes black
Out of my own dejection ,
Lonely mind in crowd ,
Creating suffocating
Monotony..in solitary..
Living life in every moment
But also dying simultaneously.,
For that moment...
Just like a spider,
Weaving two types of threads ..
I become trapped In my own web..
Silently..Leaves fall from the tree..
Continuously…And
Silently
also I.

In the moment of Haste

There must
be the
moment of existence
Impulsive,
Rather
Of consciousness ..

Beyond
time & Space

Impetuously,
I transcend
from the suchness..,
Of my reality
Is there any suddenness ?

In the journey of
The Infinite?

And find
My self
There non existent.

Two poems

1. PET WITHIN US

Our values, beliefs create us
shape us and our whole being.
We live upto them
We breathe with in them
We talk them, listen unto them
Thus we draw a boundary
around us ..... !
Life goes on within those
set parameters
New attitudes, new philosophies
new landscapes of life
new norms allure us, attract us,
but we avoid them, overlook them
The conditioned person in us
feels happy with its barriers !
As a pet remains happy within
the limited space of four walls
he can't stay out for long ,
runs back to its boundaries
So, the pet in us doesn't feel like
crossing the boundaries..
It does look beyound the boundaries
and runs back to the walls
of its own beliefs and values !

2. Raison d’etre

What you do, reflects how much you have grown,
What you speak, reflects how much thoughtful, you are
What you express, reflects how much sensitive you are
Bitter experiences in life, violent storms, drastic miseries
callous sorrows & lingering agony
impart you subtle nuances of life !
You become more intense, you touch more depths
Your sentiments, emotions & thoughts
touch their own skies.
They reach deep to their roots.
And then comes the significant growth in your life
Your vision acquires gravity, your concept acquires clarity
Wisdom adorns you manifolds
Precious gifts by bitter experiences, violent storms,
drastic miseries , callous sorrows & unkind agony,
prove their generosity, their nobility, their richness
their magnanimity.
Under their harsh and rough exterior,
they preserve such a ‘ wonderful treasure’
Which enriches your life in its own unique way !

NATIA NEMSADZE

Once upon a time

and time was
one upon an endless rhyme and
the end was but none.
Once upon the space and the space was
one with nobody’s trace a new day
had begun.
Once upon an epoch and
the epoch was one with only my epic
I continue to run.

To Edgar Poe

Sad and weary, sick and scary,
hiding secrets, jumping streamlets,
nondidactic, enigmatic...
There he lies in Baltimore....
Being weird, never smeared,
flying flitter, crying bitter, sense –
recurrent, undercurrent...
Feeling better than before...
Man of letters, never flatters,
heavy drinking, horror creeping, brains –
erratic, soul’s poetic...
Raving Edgar Allan Poe.

ODEH AMARNEH

My homeland

My homeland is an open wound for a thousand years
hot ink that writes
a beautiful and sad melody with dignity It
sends the deceptive conscience of the world into ecstasy
It makes crocodile tears fall
My homeland is a thoroughbred horse
that has given a new meaning to the meaning of patience
Rides with the wind on a rough road
And it does not come ... it will come
Resists and endures the cackles and jokes of the world
And laughs at it
My homeland is the density of patience ... the same color ... the same taste
My homeland a million lovers ... a million dreamers
They want my homeland to be an octagonal
football Kicked by a spoiled child ...
To make monkeys and pigs laugh.

Travel spirit.

Oh traveler of God!
Oh ray of sunshine!
Put my heart in your luggage,
I'll give you my wings!
Put a flower and a book of love
you find me in the sheets.
And when you enter a church
you light a candle
so Allah or God forgives us for the things we haven't done!
Light a candle
you will see me in the flame
I will be the light that accompanies you.
Light a candle to find your way.
Pray for us ... do not hesitate ...
A NOT portioned prayer!
Deep and complete!
Pray to the extreme!
Forgive our cruel fate that took away our good morning!
Honor our initial soul and the last times we laughed!
I hope that our journey will be less painful,
with the blessing of the water of Zam Zam or the water of Lourdes
I will be happy…
Have a good trip!

ARISTEA PAPALEXANDROU (Greece)

INVERTED LOANS

A God is born. Others die. The Truth
neither departed nor arrived: The Error changed
Fernando Pessoa
Nevertheless I accept
it’s not a current evil.
Decades I spent weaving
endless commemorations via
memorandums; so what’s new?
My error did not change.
What falls due nourishes me
but not one irrelevant word do
I set aside for it.
The deadline passed.
They know it and I know it.
Perjurer for some time
Soaked in sweat I profit
right down to my silence:
sound of an incoherent sob
before the difficult time
before my birth.
The deadline passed.
Me with it.
6
My error did not
change
a wrongdoer borrowing
,
And I amid the world’s evil a unpaid voucher
tossing my guilt away
