* Tornado Watch for portions of
Southwest Louisiana
Middle/Upper Texas Coast
Coastal Waters

* Effective this Tuesday morning and evening from 1050 AM until
600 PM CST.

* Primary threats include...
A few tornadoes likely with a couple intense tornadoes possible
Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible
Scattered large hail events to 1.5 inches in diameter possible

Posted On Thursday 5/26/2022: There's the possibility that the Bay of Campeche and then the southern Gulf of Mexico may be an area to watch for possible tropical development by about the middle part of next week.

The combination of a possible favorable background state for tropical development, a continued favorable look in the analog data and the possibility for an eastern Pacific tropical system to cross over southern Mexico and emerge in the Bay of Campeche around the middle part of next week where it could develop.
