📍 Sighișoara, România

Our filming drone captured the most wonderful footage- especially by the aerial and birds-eye view shots- which truly captured such incredible details of this city, from a perspective the human eye wouldn’t casually have. This drone holds remarkable potential- and we are beyond ready for the journey it will take us on.

Although Sighișoara was not one of our two shooting locations for “Oraș vs Sat,” we have much remarkable raw drone footage, from our travels throughout the city, which we can’t wait to share with you, shortly.

A very special thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of our first phase of production (filming ‘Oraș v Sat’); offscreen and on. To those who inspired the film, partook in an interview, provided access to a film location, invested in equipment, repaired equipment, and were so kind in emerging us into their culture and traditions, thank you.

To those who are not pictured- we are just as thankful for your contributions: Mihai Mateiasi, Nelu Retegan, frumoasei familieii ucrainiene, & Maica Stareță Veronica și Maica Bartolomea de la mânăstirea din Dobric.

‘Oraș vs Sat’ Short Documentary
📍Căianu Mic- Filming Day 2

Through a series wonderful, brilliant people who aided us in repairing broken equipment, agreeing for an interview, and supporting us in our desire to film the beautifully unique town; our second day of filming resulted in much successful footage.

Being are last in in Căian before we must leave for the city, it seemed to be our worst nightmare to begin our day with a broken adapter for our microphone, on a Sunday morning; through we never let go of our perseverance to make the most out of an opportunity-filled location. From these experiences, we found that flexibility and creativity are two of a filmmakers most important qualities! It is important to never lose sight of the potential a day has- even when it feels limited. With great thanks to a brilliant engineer, who we ended up filming an interview with, our adapter was fixed and we had yet another brilliant day of footage!

Our next stop is the city of📍Brașov, România

📍Căianu Mic- Filming Day 1

Our first day of shooting our first documentary film was a wonderful success and a phenomenal experience. As a complete impromptu film, we relied on our instant creativity to bring this film to life- and with a limited time of two days to shoot in this location- we are using every given opportunity to capture the people and places of Căianu Mic in their most natural state.
