"HONG KONG POLICE REANACTS TIANANMEN MASSACRE"

On Oct 1st, Hong Kong police abused lethal force in an attempt to paper over the cracks in celebration of CCP's 70th anniversary. Officers restricted freedom of assembly by arresting young people indiscriminately. They also used lethal weapons like tear gas, bean bag rounds, and rubber bullets unnecessarily. On multiple occasions, the police rushed into protesters and arbitrarily fired live rounds, injuring at least two protesters. A schoolboy was shot at close range with a pistol. The bullet pierced his lungs, only missing his heart by 3cm. Officers also fired at journalists intentionally. Fortunately, they missed all the shots.
