Her date, Erik McFadden, would later leave town and in 2019, he was reported missing. The case of Sage Smith is now a homicide.
Police are slowly releasing more updates. There have been a lot of fingers pointed at different departments in this case. We will run another update episode at the end of this week. Make sure to watch out for it!

AMBER Alert: We need your help to find six-year-old Alijah Kensinger, who is missing from Tellico Plains in Monroe County.
He's 4'00", 55 pounds, with sandy brown hair and brown eyes.
Alijah was last seen wearing jeans, a grey hooded jacket with a red zipper, and orange and black sneakers. He went to play in the woods near his home in the area of New Highway 68 in Tellico Plains this afternoon and hasn't been seen since.

A search is underway Friday morning for a 6-year-old boy who is the subject of an Amber Alert after authorities said he was abducted by an unknown person.
Jacksonville police said Amari Gabriel Christiansen is a Black boy who is about 4 feet tall and weighs 80 pounds.

Manchester police Chief Allen Aldenberg confirms to News 9 investigators were at a property on Gilford Street Sunday related to the search for Harmony Montgomery, 7, who was last seen in October 2019.
