I just saw this post in Tiktok, and this hit me hard. I know a lot of my friends or age group can relate.
So here's a DAILY DOSE OF REALITY.
Life is short.
Don't worry too much about the future.
Just live in the NOW.
You'll never know what will happen in the next few days but at least you've done everything to live life to the fullest.
Just choose to be kind always so you'll carry yourself with no extra baggage.
If you have the means to spend, reward yourself as much as you can; eat the food you want to eat, go to places you want to travel, buy the things you want to own, help those who need aid, and pray whenever you need to.
If you are still single at this age, REJOICE! You have the full liberty to love and take care of โYOUโ. You are free from worldly responsibilities yet; you only have yourself and the people dear to you to take care of. In the blink of an eye, life may snap. When your fate turns 360, at least youโve already reached cloud 9 before the eternal gates.
Stay healthy as much as you can.
People come and go so don't worry about those who left, and focus on those who stayed for these are the real people you only need in your life. Be with groups who can contribute to your growth, and build yourselves together. Value those who value you.
Love your parents and do whatever it is that can make them happy. Allow them to experience things they haven't done before when they were busy raising you. Be with your family more, be with those who have loved you first even more. Create good memories with these people, and hold on to it, today until eternity.
Death is inevitable. The question is how much have you lived life to say that you're ready to face it?
Quality of life is important.
