So Hadley's story:

Hadley is a super strong little girl. She is 5 now but in April of 2020 (4years old) was when we got her diagnosis of Hodgkin’s lymphoma cancer.
Things kind of all started around January 2020 Hadley had gotten a flu shot and then became sick. Got over the flu then it just seemed to be viral infection after another she had a swollen lymph node in her neck that just wouldn’t go down all of her blood work looked normal (Hodgkin’s is really good at hiding) there wasn’t anything unusual with her behavior or eating habits she was just the same little ole country music loving farm animal lover as she had always been. We went to countless doctors and they all said it was nothing to worry with it would go down with antibiotics but my wife(Kori) knew something wasn’t right. She has been in nursing field since graduating high school. It was April 27th which is also my wife’s birthday. The day we found out she had cancer. Not a birthday present that anyone should receive. So we were referred to St Jude and that’s where the journey began. I’m not sure how familiar anyone is with St Jude but this is how it went for us. I’ll never be the same person as I was before walking through those doors. It’s a huge facility that sits on 20acres in the heart of Memphis Tennessee. We were so scared and there was so many kids being pushed around in wagons and in wheel chairs that had no hair I’m telling you guys it was so scary but with that feeling was a feeling of comfort and peace. We met with Hadley's team of doctors and it was a busy 3 days for us. But due to Covid I was only allowed a 3 day stay and had to leave them for 14 days.... after all scans we got the final diagnosis and staging and luckily with my wife’s knowledge and the motherly instinct she was only stage 1 located in her neck which meant that she would only have 8 weeks of treatment. The doctors and nurses are phenomenal there and they love their jobs. Hadley done really good through chemo treatments she lost her hair after the 3rd treatment and it broke me seeing her like that. But we stayed positive and prayed for healing and the good lord helped my daughter through everything. She came out on top and we learned a week after her 5th birthday that she was cancer free!!! Best feeling in the world for me... I’ll attach some pics for y’all to see! Thank you so much guys and gals for everything your doing! St Jude makes a difference in everyone’s life fighting that terrible disease! We will forever be grateful for them!
