Hello everyone 😃 tomorrow at 10:00 Swedish time you all, is the first bottling release go off from Agitator Whiskymaker in Arboga in Sweden 🇸🇪 that have a special vaccum destillation process.

Agitator Single Malt have been matured in bourbon, sherry, new American oak casks and also some time in chestnut cask. Bottled at 43% abv the age is between 3-3.5 år. and 14 000 bottles are released in total.

Hello everyone 😃 now its time some Swedish Whisky history that have been written of the oldest and most expensive bottle ever sold in this northern country then 😉

250 bottles in total will be released this year over the world and 1 to Sweden that were sold out in less then a second at the web release oktober 31 for 895 000 !

The whisky is a 80 years old single malt from Glenlivet Destillery destilled 1940 bottled by Gordon & Macphail at a good proof of 44,9 % which is really well done for a 80 year old whisky 👌

Hello everyone 😃 Diageo opens its first carbon neutral whiskey destillery in north America in Lebanon Kentucky, and first out is Bulleit is the first product under way there.

The local site supports 30 full-time jobs and also sourcing 100 percent non-GMO corn locally. The 72,000 square-foot facility has the capacity to produce up to 10 million proof gallons per year and has begun distilling Bulleit Bourbon using electrode boilers powered by 100 percent renewable electricity throughout the cooking, distillation, and dry house processens. So Bulleit is lead brand at this site and will supplement the original destillery nearby Shelbyville also in Kentucky.

Hello everyone 😃 its "Malt Monday" and here some intresting news from Amrut destillery 😉

Amrut recently launched an umbrella brand "The Single Malts of India" to showcase the hidden gem malts of India then. The first batch release, called Neidhal, will be a limited release of 12,000 bottles around the world, with 1,200 bottles being allocated for India itself. Ancient Tamil texts dating back to the Sangam period of 300 B.C. classify earth into five regions called Tinais. These regions are knowned for their own literary style, grammar, mood and more. Under this classification, "Neidhal" is comprised of all oceans and neighboring regions. In short coastal plains and the way of living one associates with them. Neidhal is described as a single malt whisky sourced from a Neidhal coastal region and is said to exhibit a traits uniquely spring. The tasting notes is of tropical fruits, vanilla punctuated by soft phenols and above all sea salt on the nose.

Hello everyone 😃 now before christmas 🎅 two presents in november no decided date yet from Berglagens Bottlers in Sweden are on the way to be released. Their first 10yo matured in bourbon/cognac casks and the Santa 2021 matured in french oak with imperial stout finish both bottlings have the closed Grythyttan destillery whisky within.

Hello everyone 😃 its tuesday and in Sweden my country this bottling "Umiki" will be released today. That is the first Japanese pine cask finish in the history of whisky and the name Umiki is split in two parts of "Umi" that means Sea and "Ki" that means Wood.

Hello everyone 😃 three days ago Duncan Taylor took home a world Guiness record for the world largest whisky bottle of 311 liters filled with Macallan 32yo single malt in and a height of 1,8 meters 😮

So it can be quite complex and wide in body and character then 🤔.
