All 3 major sectors having a great day and a great week so far. With inflation concerns ease and the FED raising it’s benchmark interest rate by a quarter point or 0.25 percentage points, investors are being optimistic about the current economical climate and putting their money to work, therefore keeping the turbines moving in the positive direction. The market has been performing very well YTD (year to date) comparing to last year, as well as for the first half of the 2023 it’s been performing well comparing to fiscal year 2022 even with concerns of inflation lingering.

LVMH the luxury conglomerate announced Monday, that they had form a joint partnership by purchasing a 50% stake in Jay-Z's Champagne brand, Armand de Brignac aka Ace of Spade.

The success of this partnership today all began in 2006 after the Hip Hop mogul bought a 50% stake in Armand de Brignac and debuted it in his "Show Me What You Got" music video. What initiated this deal at that time, Jay-Z like other rappers use to endorse Cristal in their songs. An executive of the beverage company didn't appreciate the culture buying or promoting the brand (which was free at the cost of the consumer). Therefore, Shawn "Jay-z" Carter took his money elsewhere and so the culture followed.

Since then, Cristal hasn't been the same. This proves that the culture and black dollar is necessary.

In 2014, the Hip Hop mogul bought the remaining half of Armand de Brignac. He made a smart business move which eventually catapulted into something greater today.

The brand as grown exponentially that Moet Hennessy had to collaborate.

To add clarity to this statement, when you're making preparation for something you have an idea of where you're going. In order to do so, you have to get the tools needed to accomplish the goal. Thereafter, you seek, present yourself with the tools and apply it to get the results.

Just a short while ago, both Apple and Tesla stocks were at an all time high, $509 and $2200 respectively. They were driven by positive growth in production and sales in the last two quarters (Q1 and Q2), which led to investors flocking both stocks, causing a surge of their market price. If you had invested a $1000 in each Apple and Tesla around September of last year, you would have accumulated $2600 & $9000 respectively.

So, to some it all up, a mere $2000 invested would have increase your portfolio to $11,600 in approximately a year. That's not bad at all considering your bank is giving you less than 0.08% interest returned, which is a $1.60 on your $2000 over that same period, just sitting there in the vault. Well, not really! Your money will be making enough interest for the banks after they've issued loans to other borrowers.

Investing in the stock market isn't too bad at all, right?
