A must see in Yogyakarta is Prambanan Temple. This 9th century Hindu temple definitely catches the eye and you can easily spend the day wandering around the grounds and soaking in the sights of these stunning temples and gardens that surround them.

We are Leon and Michelle and we both love to travel and experience new things and places.

We decided to sell most of our belongings, quit our jobs and go travelling while we are still fit and healthy enough to do so as you just don't know what's around the corner.

After a lot of consideration and research we decided that we wanted to do a 6 month trip to Southern Asia and booked our flights.

We will be starting with Indonesia and then visiting the Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Malaysia and finishing in Singapore.

Prior to our trip we did a lot of research watching YouTube videos and reading blogs and we found them really useful and got some great ideas of places to visit during our travels so we decided to start our own vlog and blog to document our travels, how to get there, what to do and the question that always seems to be ask, how much does it cost?

We are not travelling on a tight budget like a backpacker, we will be trying our best to avoid dorm rooms (don’t that in our 20s, too old for it now). We will be going out for days out, splashing out on the odd nice hotel and treating ourselves to a nice meal but hopefully our costings will give you an idea on how much it would cost you to do a similar trip.
