BREAKING NEWS🚨: Police are investigating reports of a shooting across the street from the WFMY News 2 station. Part of Phillips Ave. is blocked off as police try to figure out what happened.

WILL SPECTRUM USERS BE COMPENSATED? 🛜📶A Spectrum spokesperson said impacted customers should work with their customer service team. The spokesperson said they will work with customers individually.

UPDATE: According to the website, Downdetector the majority of Spectrum services have been restored.

CONTINUED COVERAGE: Spectrum says the widespread internet outage was caused by a third-party who damaged their fiber. Services started to be restored around 9:15 p.m. last night. Join WFMY News 2 's morning shows for the latest, starting at 4:30 a.m.

Family and friends are mourning the loss of Sophie Fox. Fox's mom tells me the 16-year-old died suddenly last Thursday. Friends say she was one of a kind, the light in a dark world.
