I heard this the other day and thought, “damn, that’s powerful”👏✨

It’s powerful and it’s TRUE!
It’s no one else’s job except your own.
I know self love is hard. Shoot, it’s the hardest love out there. But when it really comes down to it, you’re the one who has to live with you for the rest of eternity! No one else HAS to. And one thing that has always stuck with me is, “you have to love you if you want to love others!” Which really just means that you can’t pour from an empty cup momma! 👏👏

So moral of the story… be someone you like!!

How it started VS. How it’s going✨

Marriage is hard, but Marriage is beautiful.

•Its arguing over silly things like who took out the trash last and who’s next to lay the kids down…
•It’s hugging each other until the pain is gone because there’s no one else that knows you like that…
•It’s the struggle of not always seeing things eye to eye, but doing your best to try….
•It’s building a home with the person you love and reflecting on how far you have come...
•It’s screaming so loud because you wanna be heard and learning what buttons you both can and cannot push…
•It’s loving each other so hard that even though things aren’t perfect, you could never let go…

Marriage, just like Love, is patient and kind.
Marriage is not perfect… there is no such thing. There are just two imperfect people who are perfect for eachother💕

And even though Shane and I are by no means perfect, I know for a fact there’s really no one I’d rather call my husband.
