We will never understand to the full extent of God’s. If we did then God isn’t who God says He is.

Earlier today I shared with a group of young women leaders about my passion for activism. My friend here laying next to me in this photo was a dear friend who fought for justice and rights of people. She was a Mandela Fellow, an exchange program alum under the State Department that’s pretty much the same kind of program I’m currently handling at work ()

I was always so inspired by her courage & fearless attitude. Nothing would stop her from fighting for people whose rights were violated in the dark world of human-trafficking.

FUNNY STORY - I would ask her to go out and meet up on weekends and she’d say to me “Sorry Imms I’m going to be out with a group. We’re going to wait outside of strip clubs to give out some baskets filled with items and messages of hope for the ladies.” Haha. This was a normal response I’d get from her.

This was pretty much someone who’s sacrifice her time, energy and money to help and fight for people.

Talking about her and her selflessness always reminds me to love life..and to love life is to love people.

Thank you for being my inspiration & for always challenging me even now, more than ever. ❤️
