It was a SUPER day on our rides this weekend on Catalina. We spent the day riding the entire island taking in the beautiful views and hues of blue. Highly recommend! We took the Catalina flyer. For those wondering, they do allow e-bikes for 20 bucks a bike. ❤️

New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day photo dump. We partied hard. But not the kind of partying you would expect on this holiday. We ate bagels, went to the natural history museum, ate cookies, strolled Central Park, decided to not ice skate because the line was 5,432 people long and then we went to the best Italian dinner ever. We got a police es**rt through time square to avoid the madness and then we tucked ourselves in bed and watched the ball drop. Today was spent exploring more and eating copious amounts of tacos and ice cream. All without alcohol because who needs alcohol to party? Not us! Sure, maybe an unpopular opinion but Braden and I have never drank alcohol. People are amazed by this and I don’t see why? Happy new year everyone!! 2024 is going to be the best one yet!!!

Living this parallel life both on land and at sea has been Beautifully chaotic and difficult. We are constantly getting settled, moving, fixing, buying, borrowing, growing, changing, learning, socializing, sight seeing, ect. After nearly 7 years of this nomadic life we finally feel like we have mastered it. We are good at it. We are good at solving problems. We are great at messing up and making mistakes and then resolving them with creative solutions. I am so dang proud of us. Not just Braden and I, but the whole crew. We work extremely hard to make it all work, to make ends meet and to provide a promising future for our kids. What I’m getting at is that this lifestyle can be done. It can be done in whatever walk of life you are in, but if you have a desire to try it then I say try it. Now I know it’s not for everyone and that’s awesome as well. But Ask us questions! We are here to help. If you are still reading you are awesome. What suggestions do you have for balancing your life?
