Day 40(ish) of (pre)School being shut.

Our lessons don’t stop because the weekend is here....in fact, I only knew it was the weekend because my work phone stopped ringing every 2 minutes.
Today’s lesson took the Crafty Little Ninjas back to that historical day in 1995. Actually there were two dates in 1995 that were equally significant for them:
1. The Springboks taking out the Rugby World Cup (woohoo!!)
2. Black Magic winning the America’s Cup for the first time.
And that’s what we trained for. COVID-19 has thrown the field wide open for next years challenge and I wanted to make sure they were ready! Everyone needs to be ready for life post Covid-19 and we are working on their “boat design” and “technique” 😬 🤣🤣 ⛵️

Day 25 of (pre)School being shut.

The Crafty Little Ninjas have continuously left their toys everywhere and we’ve had to walk through minefields all the time! It’s like we’re Behind Enemy Lines!
So we decided to “challenge” each other to walk through their LEGO debris - blindfolded.
What could go wrong?! 🤷🏽‍♂️🤣
I tried to stitch her up but I suppose she got me...

Day 3,342 of (pre)School being closed.

Things have been hectic in the house to say the least 🧟‍♂️
The Head Honcho of The Crafty Little Ninjas has decided it’s time to potty train while Elsa “Ice Queen” has a few activities to do from preschool.
All of this while we still try to teach them the important historical events 😂 and still both work 🙇🏽‍♂️
We need more alcohol!

Day 20 of (pre)School being shut.

With school being shut, we don’t want our kids to miss out on learning the important lessons! The ones that make us who we are and define us.
We have taken it upon ourself to make sure we take these Crafty Little Ninjas through such lessons. And none more important than the unbelievable scenes at the MCG that lit the match of the bitter Trans-Tasman rivalry.

Anyone got the number of this F*^ #%ng Bunny?!
This prick thinks it’s ok to come over and leave chocolate and then bu**er off!
We have to deal with the sugar highs - and then even worse, the sugar lows!
I’m just waiting for hunting season to begin!
I seriously thought he was my saviour, but now I see, it was false hope...
The Crafty Little Ninjas have regained the upper hand after a few lines of chocolate.

Day 16 of (pre)School being shut.

Self-Isolation/Lockdown/Working-From-Home just makes all the days blur. I’m pretty sure March had 63 days?!
But today, we made the single biggest discovery of the year!
“If you don’t behave, the Easter Bunny won’t come and visit”. 🐰
Bribery at its finest. And the picture will attest to the Crafty Little Ninjas cooperating in tidying up post TC Harold.
What this photo will also show, is that we have discovered who the head honcho of the Crafty Little Ninjas is.
Is she going to be a CEO or a Dictator or maybe a Mob Boss? I guess we will stay tuned to find out...

Day...oh who the hell knows anymore!? They all just blur into one!
Anarchy and lawlessness has taken over.
The Crafty Little Ninjas weren’t appreciative of what I posted yesterday and decided that we needed to be punished further...
It started by them waking up earlier than usual and depriving us of that much needed sleep that we crave; and then they took to tying us up when they didn’t get what they wanted.
I guess we only have ourselves to blame. Whilst trying to both work while they are home, our stance on limiting screen time has basically been swept up by this cyclone heading our way!
I’m sure I saw them watching a documentary about torture techniques - maybe that’s where the sleep deprivation and tying us up came from 🤷🏽‍♂️

Day 13 of (pre)School being shut/self isolation.
The kids have taken over the entire house! They have ransacked the cupboard, eaten anything and everything in sight. Who knew crackers and apple will go together?!
Alisa and I are trying to keep it together. The house has been b***y trapped everywhere by these crafty little ninjas! Everywhere you walk there is a landmine (toys) - some are duds but others really hurt when you stand on them!
Our bedroom used to be a safe haven but they seem to have gotten to that 😬
Since being told to stay indoors and make sure we are “Social Distancing” all we want to do is go outside for walks and be close to as many people as possible. They have closed gyms, restaurants and even the golf course! Why the golf course?! 🤬
However, we are responsible and if we do venture outside, we cover up. Masks are in short supply - thankfully we stocked up on (*cough* panic bought) toilet paper and Nappies which have doubled as a great alternative to the N95 mask (just make sure it’s not a used nappy 💩🤢).
We also never washed our hands before, who knew you had to do something like that?! 🤦🏽‍♂️ So soap and Hand sanitisers has become the new norm after touching anything and everything!

Send help! Even better, send alcohol! Went to the supermarket 3 days ago and got 2 weeks supply; it’s already gone!...
