We are not to live by our own "will" or "power", but to yield our will to "His will" and live by "His power". "For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure" (Philippians 2:13). "Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might" (Ephesians 6:10). This means that we are not living by our abilities, but by the GRACE of God. Paul declares that there is a GRACE to be a child of God, but there is also a GRACE to live as a child of God. "But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me" (I Corinthians 15:10).
