If you want to make God laugh, tell him your plans 🤣 literally! I have a testimony for you guys… before Vic & I met, I had always told myself two things 1. I will never get married on the beach, I thought beach weddings were so bleh, 2. I will never have a step child (selfish I know). Then I met Vic & Troy, at this point in my life I had no relationship with the Lord, I believed there was a God but I just didn’t have a real understanding of who Jesus was & what he did for us & how loving he truly is. Granted I have always wanted children I just didn’t think I would be able to parent someone else’s child, just based off of my own experiences in life. Very quickly I realized how fun it was to have a child, I have never looked at Troy as my “step son” I’ve just always loved him & it was a gradual thing but it has been very special & meaningful & continues to grow daily.. Jesus had different plans for my life, that to the very core have been helping raise a child that isn’t biologically mine & I have absolutely NO complaints! I love this life, I love the life Jesus has designed for us! I hope & pray we will have more children as part of our journey 🫶🏼 I pray for everyone who comes across this Reel, may the Lord reveal himself to you in a way that touches your heart & soul so deeply & welcoming that you never feel alone again! Today My Husband & I found ourselves being attacked by the enemy.. We found ourselves being so overwhelmed by the world & not being where we necessarily want to be in life & we wanted to share our Testimony with you guys to encourage you to not worry about the future, because you might not know what it holds for you but you do know who holds it… Success is not dependent on the world & what the world thinks of you or what you think of yourself. Rather Success is determined by where the Lord has placed you & how you Glorify him in all aspects of your life! Before Breakfast we were reading God’s Word & he lead us right to Matthew 6:25-27 NIV “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?”We just looked at one another thinking how silly it was for us to forget who our Creator is & how Powerful & Mighty our Father is! We encourage you, regardless of your circumstances, to Seek The Kingdom First & everything else will fall into place, in God’s Timing!
