We concluded our haunt season this year by dipping a toe into the world of extreme haunts - specifically, the one-night-only extreme blackout event hosted by Field of Screams in Lancaster, PA! During blackout night, the intensity of our home haunt is turned up several notches and victims might be bagged, tied, caged, separated from their group, forced to eat or drink strange concoctions or even shocked! Our Field fam invited us out to see what this event was all about, and boy did we ever make some memories. Friday night marked the end of our formal haunt season, and what a wild ride 2023’s haunt crawl was! We visited three new-to-us haunts, got to take on multiple “behind the screams” tours, got to try our hand at scare acting for the very first time and even got to experience our very first “extreme” haunt…which was quite the experience unto itself!
We know that many folks have already put spooky season in the rearview and started barreling full force towards the holidays, and we’ll finally be starting to make that same shift come this weekend. The haunt industry, however, has a special place in our hearts that just can’t be overwritten by the winter holidays…so we’ll be heading right back into the haunt game for some special, off-season holiday haunts next month! 👻🎄

Calling all haunters, freaks and spooky enthusiasts! 👻
If you have never heard of Paranormal Cirque, allow us to introduce you to one of the coolest and most engaging pop-up events we’ve ever attended! Last night we went to check out the traveling Paranormal Cirque III show at their pop-up location in Hanover, Maryland (Arundel Mills).
This adult-oriented, Vegas-style show includes aerialists, jugglers, comedy acts and even a haunted house! Pictures and video are not permitted during the show, but you can check them out on social media to see some killer promos that will set the bar for your experience. Suffice to say, we had an amazing time and look forward to seeing the show again when it returns next year…but in the meantime, you can get tickets RIGHT NOW to see the show tonight or tomorrow night in Hanover or next weekend in Waldorf! Be sure to check the website to see where this traveling troupe will be popping up next!
