A dilemma I see often in today’s world is that many of us lean away from putting ourselves out there and risking being shut down despite how most of us are ultimately seeking deeper connection.

We hide behind “playing it cool” and “thirst traps”

Yes, not everyone will like you. And that can sting a bit. But when you feel a spark, I believe it’s worth testing the waters by putting yourself out there in the right way.

If the person is closed off or does not reciprocate, then at least you can move on with your life instead of the sitting in the games of “limbo”

Do you agree?

Are you emotionally drained lately? Did this month feel super long for you?

We live in a society that prides itself in being productive, achieving unrealistic goals and working hard. So it’s no surprise that many people feel like they have nothing left to give after a long day, no matter how much rest they get.

Some reminders for you! Did any of these resonate with you? Anything you would add?

Unlearning is learning to think, behave, or perceive differently, when there are already beliefs, behaviors, or assumptions in place that are getting in the way of what you want.

What else would you add to unlearn?

Life is full of ups and downs, and while the hard moments can feel never-ending, they are often temporary. Growth and healing take time, and even the darkest seasons can lead to unexpected light.

What would another scenario be of ‘just because, doesn’t mean’?

Ghosting is not great strategy because it leaves the other person in a state of confusion and self doubt. “No” usually works pretty well, but this post includes some additional options.

Also, there is a difference between ghosting someone, and cutting contact to prop text your mental health / energy.

Let’s normalize taking Mental Health days! Let’s share this far and wide.

Whether you are grieving the loss of a loved one or simply having an off day mentally, sometimes our mind might need a day.

Save this post to come back to. Here are some tips on asking for a mental health day:

- Acknowledge that you deserve the day. You know you have worked hard and can communicate your needs to your boss/supervisor

- Consider your workplace leave policies. Familiarize yourself with your rights prior to requesting a day off

- Share only what you feel comfortable with. If you feel okay going into some detail, that’s great but it’s also fine to say “I am dealing with a personal matter” and that should do the trick.

- Remember that the day is about you! Find ways to decompress and help get your mind to a better place mentally

I hope this helps! And there is obviously an element to consider of balance and putting in hard work/earning the trust and confidence of your team that when you say you need a day, they understand!

Please comment your thoughts and tips.

Let go of grudges not because they deserve forgiveness, but because you deserve peace

Also - that does not mean you need to allow anyone back in your life who has wronged you. Agree? 🗣🔥

Some honest things that people who are/were in an abusive relationship wish outsiders understood!

These answers all came from YOU! The answers were so good and so raw that I felt had to make a post about it. So thank you!

Comment with anything else! I could only fit 10 and there were sooo many good ones left. Will pin a few and make another post.
