ABOUT
AXTRA.LAB is an experimental Label run by Alvax aka Valeria Di Sabato and (T)Raum by Roberta Busechian. The label is based in Berlin and Milan.
The aim of the label is to promote and share young artists working in the field of electronic experimental music, electroacustic music, sound art, soundscape composition and glitch music.
The field of activity of AXTRA.LAB involves both music and audiovisual projects, aims to push the contemporary listening of electronic sounds through technological, net-based projects, sound installations, live streamings and live performances. The idea of making a label also a laboratory means building a community of artists, sharing and involving technological and aural knowledge in different formats (digital and analog). The label has also an innovative section for the promotion of junior talents between 14 and 20 years.
AXTRA.LAB as a laboratory is also an educational project, willing to diffuse and discuss the meaning of the sound artistic research in the contemporary society and tendences related to sound studies, gender studies, electronic culture, multimedia interaction and visual approach to sound.
