Life is a painting, and DART wants you to be the artist in the 2023 Student Art Contest. This year’s theme is “Go Here. Go There. Go Everywhere!” DART is calling all creative kiddos (K-12) to enter the 2023 Student Art contest for a chance to win an amazing prize! Here’s how to win:1) Media may include crayons, paint, markers, colored pencils and digital art. 2) Entries must measure 11" high x 17" wide, and the design should be laid out horizontally. 3) Entries MUST be mailed and should be submitted on heavy paper such as poster, tag or illustration board. 4) Contestants should include the DART logo in any drawings of buses or trains. 5) Don’t forget to incorporate this year’s theme! 6) DART will accept entries through March 22. The home that love built 🤍

Our Entryway: I could have went with an expensive art piece for the entryway but instead, I wanted to create a gallery wall that told our story. Letting life decorate our home. Each of the these pictures tell a special story of our family. This wall is full of firsts, special occasions, and love. It’s a great reminder of our “why” on tough days. I love it and it’s usually visitors’ favorite part of our home.

It has been a tradition in my family to fast on Good Friday. Fasting is not just about not eating. As kids, we had to fast TV because it was our WORLD lol. Fasting is an act of sacrifice and discipline by refraining from something for a certain amount of time. The purpose is to draw closer to God devoting your time and energy Him. This is a time to discipline your mind, focus on God, pray, and practice humility. I encourage you to choose an area of your life you are willing to sacrifice to show your humility to God, tomorrow.
