I alway try and incorporate something I’m working on personally into the artwork. For example “Take a Deep Breath & Enjoy the ride” is something I’ve been telling myself a lot lately. It’s really easy to get caught up in the stress. Personally it’s something I’ve battled my whole life. This was one of the hardest years of my life mentally and from the outside it probably looks like the opposite. That’s the story for a lot of us, at all levels of the game. The Iconic design is a cool take on the things we love and make us happy. It’s a reminder to not take things so seriously. Who wouldn’t smile at a nitrous tank with sunglasses?

As always if you swooped any merch in person or online over the years you have helped support me being able to chase my dreams. Thank you all for being the Goodest. Let’s continue to support the homies, no I’m not saying that to sell shirts, I’m talking about your homies haha. Let’s give back to the sport that gives us so much. Let’s lead by example, and let’s have a good time doing it. Let’s take a deep breath and enjoy the ride.

Up next we have Geoff Pitts aka

Geoff Pitts was responsible for running Thunder Drift which Formula Drift pro licensed quite a few Northern California drivers including a few of my Animal Style teammates. He ran events, announced events, and now he’s a race director for a prestigious vintage motorsports group. It’s always cool to see where drifting takes people next. Geoff Pitts also was Ryan Kado’s spotter in FD along with shooting for Life Blasters which was a sort of alt Speedhunters. In an absence of drifting Events in Northern California Geoff stepped up and made it happen for us. Geoff has been around a lot of cool stuff over the years and we try to talk about as much as we can in the time we have.

Mike “Martino” Martino is a drifter out of Toronto. Known for his well styled S15 and aggressive driving style Martino along with his livery and design work at he’s been making moves in grassroots drifting. We sit down and talk about a lot of concepts in drifting and life.

We’re back baby! To celebrate we have a great one with the and Mike of the . Fatcats is a car club out of Houston Texas. They have some of the coolest drift cars around and they all have their own individual style. You don’t want to miss this one. It’s live now!

Russian street drift movie maker .artyom episode is now live on the !

Artyom and his brother have been making movies most of their lives. Once they found Street Drifting in Russia they went all the way in. They turned their videography business that used to do weddings and commercials into a media factory for underground street drifters all over Russia to be put on display. Their oldest drift movie they uploaded to youtube was over 12 years ago and they haven’t stopped since. Artyom now drifts himself and tells stories of how they got where they are now and some of the crazy things they had to do to get there. The cinematic films of street drifting all over Russia are something people watch all over the world. We are lucky they have gone as far as they have to put out these videos that we can all watch for free.

Kazuya Taguchi is one of the very few drifters who have competed in drifting at the top level in multiple countries. He came to the United States from Japan a little over three years ago and had to learn English and a lot more along the way. He came here to win and has been working his way up to being a force in Formula Drift while still making time for building cool cars with the JDM style we love so much. Kazuya is also part of the famous Japanese drift team Moccomans whose headquarters is Garage Yamaguchi. We get into Kazuya’s origin story back in Japan and his early days street drifting stories. Kazuya has a very high drift IQ and there’s a lot to learn about his evaluation of driving and techniques.

Matt Field has been a professional drifter for over a decade. His journey started long before that and we talk about his origins, current struggles, and his future. Matt started like most of us in the early days, with a Nissan, you’ll see which one. Matt is an example of what it looks like to go from having fun as a kid to creating a legacy in drifting. He has progressed not only his driving but his builds and now runs the Drift Cave which is Northern California’s premiere drift shop. Matt has two back to back 2nd place finishes in the Formula Drift season and will continue his fight to be the series champion.

I want to say thank you, I’m humbled by the support I’ve gotten from everyone on the podcast and Goodest Co this weekend. We mostly sold out of shirts day one. I saw so many people wearing Goodest Co I honored. Also thank you to everyone who came up and said they like the podcast. It means a lot. Thank you for all the kind words on Emceeing the event. and I weren’t sure how it was going to go. Talking to thousands of people live is pretty crazy and it won’t be something I get used to quickly. Thank you to for trusting me with the Mic this weekend. This life is a rollercoaster and I’m along for the ride these days.

For almost a year we’ve been in the top 100 automotive podcasts in quite a few countries based on Apple’s rankings. I can confidently say based on the data we’re the biggest grassroots drifting podcast in the world. I think for a bit we may have been the biggest drifting podcast before some automotive celebs started podcasts recently. I always feel weird posting achievements like this. I was thinking about it and putting these out is a lot of work and I’m proud of what we’ve built. I want to say thank you to everyone who’s been on this journey, from the guests to anyone who’s pressed play. At the same time, f**k the numbers, let’s keep this fun!

Landin turned his passion into a career. He went from making edits of himself and friends playing games to working for the company that makes them. With the money from that career he was able to start drifting in real life which is such an amazing path.
