Hello everyone!
Unfortunately, I just received news that my article about my extended stay could not be posted. Although, I am sadden by the news I do not see this as a negative. I will continue to be positive and hopefully another article I submit can be posted with the travel community that I adore. I still want to tell everyone to please check out MedVenture App they are a great way to connect with other travel professionals and they have a great blog with tips that can help medical travelers on their journey! Hi everyone! Just an small but exciting announcement. I created a blog post for the MedVenture! Like my most recent Youtube video it talks about my experience at staying at an extended stay and why I recommend not to spend your money there.
Menture is site that focuses on the medical travel community. Regardless if you are a new or a season traveler this is a fun group to check out. They give reviews on hospitals in all 50 states in the USA and how it is to work in them, they provide great resources if you are dealing with burnout or need a work out and can't get to a gym, they also host events for medical travelers and really help form a community and they also have a blog that fellow travelers post in to help give advice for other travelers. They are really great check them out :D They have an app, website, facebook and instagram.

It's not a drill! Coming to you FINALLY a new video on I feel like this one would be super helpful because crisis rates are going up again. Making it more desirable to jump and travel again. Just a quick little update! First day on a new job. Very excited for this opportunity to help cultivate new nurses. Learning new systems and meeting new people is a thrill! Each student has their own unique personality, very proud of them already, especially with their willingness to learn. Although, I love my new batch already, I do miss my OG students. Cheers to a fresh start and excited to see where this goes!

Hello everyone! I just wanted to say thank you for sticking with me thus far even though I haven't been posting as of late. The transitioning with moving back home to NY from VA, finding a new job and dealing with physical therapy and disability has been a tough one. I feel like I am in a position to start posting again. But I just wanted to say thank you for continuing to follow Shadow and I through our travel journeys. I'll hope to have a new video in the near future. Hope ya'll are doing well and staying safe!

Between new meds, physical therapy appointments, follow up otheopedic appointments, contemplating my next move and dealing with short term disability and unemployment. Shadow and I are trying to relax. I know we haven't updated you in awhile, but we're working on it. Thank you for still supporting us and all the kind words.

Late 2 days, but ive officially been travel nursing for 1 year now. Definitely been a roller coaster especially the last couple of weeks, but I wouldn't change it for the world. Always having new situations, growing my nursing skills, and challenging myself, while meeting a lot of new friends and expirencing new experiences. Would not change it for the world :3

Thanks ya'll for an awesome first day. Although it's still a pain being badgeless and not have access to call the doctors ya'll know how to make a stressful day a good day. Love ya'll hopefully will make this assignment the best next!

Running around looking for parking and then HR. 20 minutes later, im sorry im late I got lost. Sweet HR lady asks what I'm here for. I say I'm told to meet here for orientation. Both look concerned and said well we don't have any badges, we also are not sure where to send you. *awkwardly stands there...uh ok no worries. Ah first days on travel assignments. 😅 Always interesting ^-^

As I travel back down to my next assignment. I went through some old boxes and found my student ID, worked up to a pcu neuro nurse, to a nursing instructor, to a travel nurse, who worked on a pcu floor, a covid floor, then a neuro pcu floor....its amazing. For those who knew me in nursing school, ya'll know the personal struggles that I was going through. But hey we made it, now to keep going further. People tell you all the time things will get better. Here's proof that it actually did.

Hello youngings! Shadow and I are doing fine, just packing up and getting ready to move to another unit while trying to fit in some exploring! January was filled with a lot of negative, but thats ok! Remember it's never too late to start the new year. So im restarting! Hopefully Feb 2021 will be the start of a better year. Hope your all doing well! Hey guys sorry I haven't been posting much. There's just been a lot of change and 2021 isn't exactly how I wanted to start off the year. Shadow and I are still around. Still seeing places.
