DEC RAIDS INTERNET FRÀUD SYNDICATE, SEIZES SIM BOXING MACHINE WITH OVER 13, 000 SIM CARDS

The Drug Enforcement Commission working with the Zambia Police, the Department of Immigration and the Anti-terrorism organisation have conducted a raid on Golden Top Support Services in Lusaka’s Roma area, uncovering a sophisticated internet fràud syndicate.

The organization guised as an internet café, possessed sim boxing machines facilitating the bypassing of local service providers' networks for fraudulent activities including internet fràud and online scàms.

DEC Director General, Nason Banda says over 13, 000 Airtel, MTN and Vodafone sim cards both domestic and international have been seized as counting is in process.

The intelligence operation also seized two fi****ms with 78 rounds of ammunition and two motor vehicles, a Toyota Land Cruiser and Alphard registered to a Chinese national.

77 suspects including 50 males and 27 females from Zambia, 22 Chinese and 1 Cameroonian have been apprehended.

Family members have confirmed that Assistant Security Manager at ZANACO, Mike Ilishebo confronted Lusaka Central MP and Minister of Justice, Mulambo Haimbe over allegations that Mulambo was having an inappropriate relationship with his wife, Valerie Franco.

Audios and phone records show the elements of the allegations .

Police have confirmed that Mike Ilishebo, on Wednesday 3rd April 2024 around 16hrs, committed su***de after he allegedly stabbed and killed his wife, Valerie Franco.

The newly married couple have had long-standing differences and Mulambo Haimbe, who was the ex to Valerie, was at the centre of the adultery matrix allegations.

At the heart of the marital differences is the alleged inappropriate relationship that Valerie held with Mulambo Haimbe.

Mike ilishebo accused Mulambo Haimbe of having sowed his wild oats on his wife and the outcome, the eight-month old baby, is allegdly Mulambo's.

Members of the family have demanded that the phones with evidence must not be tampered with by the Police. The family is also demanding for a DNA test between Mulambo Haimbe and the eight-month infant to determine the conclusive paternity of the case.

Haimbe becomes the second Cabinet Minister to be embroiled in marriage where partners commit su***de.

Musician Nathan Mithi committed su***de after leaving a lengthy su***de note explaining that he made that decision to terminate his life because his wife, Sabby Phiri, had been unfaithful throughout their marriage and had a s*xual relationship with among others, Minister of Information and Media and Chief Government Spokesperson, Cornelius Mweetwa.

Sad News!😭💔

This happened in kabwe at kabwe general hospital at the bus station. There is so much confusion there right now.

The police found three heads in this 4 students bag. These girls are 20 years old, they're holding a big handbag and they boarded a bus from kabwe bus as news say.
The driver being vibrant felt a strong smell coming from the girl's handbag. The horrible smell made the bus driver suspicious, whom then use the light to signal the police at the Road block but the police didn't notice him trying to signal at them that there is a problem in the bus.

When the bus driver got to the area, he raised alarm they held those Girls and police to search the girl's bag. Many people were afraid not knowing what was happening. One of the police was shocked when he opened the girl's bag and found three heads in the girl's bag.

After cross examination of the heads, the securities found out that the heads were known heads.
The 3 heads are Samsung Charger Head, iPhone Charger Head and one Huawei charger Head.

CHILE ONE’S WIFE FOUND WITH CASE

Kitwe High Court has found Annie M***a with a case to answer in the case she is accused of murdering her husband, Richard Mbulu, also known as Chile One, in April 2022 in Kitwe.

The State called 17 witnesses, who all testified against M***a, with Mbulu’s sister-in-law, Esnart Zulu, narrating how she found her brother-in-law sitting near his bedroom door with a hole in his stomach minutes after they heard a gunshot.

Ms Zulu said M***a later requested her to take Mr Mbulu to the hospital, where he revealed to her that he had been shot before he was pronounced dead.

She said M***a earlier confided in her about her husband’s extra-marital affair and the beatings that he used to subject her to.

His brother, Stanslous Mbulu, also testified that M***a was his brother’s second wife and that his brother once introduced another woman to him in 2021 as his wife.

During final submissions, the prosecution said they had overwhelming evidence against M***a.

The defence team, on the other hand, argued that the prosecution did not have enough evidence against M***a. But Kitwe High Court Judge Everisto Pengele said evidence before him implicates M***a.

“I, therefore, find the accused person with a case to answer and I put her on defence for murder,” Judge Pengele said.

Speeding driver kills ZNS recruit hours after graduation

AFTER a gruelling yet fulfilling seven month long military training, the dream of becoming a soldier for 24-year-old Sililo Mukela has been shattered as his life was terminated in a hit and run road accident this morning.

Mukela, of house number 52 Chisokone Avenue in Luanshya on the Copperbelt, who was among 1, 471 soldiers recruited in the Zambia National Service (ZNS), was hit by an unknown vehicle around 04:00 hours on Great North Road in New Market area of Kabwe.

He is said to have died on the spot after sustaining fatal injuries.

Central Province police commanding officer Charity Munganga, who confirmed the incident, said Mukela was hit in unclear circumstances by a yet-to-be identified speeding vehicle as he was walking beside the road on the left side, heading south.

She said the body is in the morgue at Kabwe Central Hospital awaiting postmortem, and identification by family members.

Munganga added that the condition of the motor vehicle involved remains unknown.
