Our friend, ‘s beautiful book has arrived and it is simply stunning. Kiri, her husband Lockie and three kids have been travelling all over the world in times gone by and the last few years, have been travelling Australia and New Zealand in their Kombi and caravan and sharing on their page
This book is truly so beautiful, informative, inspiring and nostalgic. The photography, words and recipes are Kiri and Lockie’s and showcases their natural and extraordinary talents.
This is a book I’m going to keep coming back to and enjoying for years to come and I can’t wait to start cooking out of it.

Skillet brownie over đŸ”„! This recipe from @theslowroad_ cookbook is so simple and delicious, you can cook it camping or in your backyard. Abridged recipe below. Full recipe in the book. Combine 1 cup of plain flou and 3/4 cup of cocoa. Mix Add 3/4 cup of brown sugar, 1 ⅓ cup of caster sugar, 175g of unsalted butter, melted, ⅓ teaspoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract and 3 eggs. Mix Fold in 150g of dark chocolate nibs. Add baking paper to a skillet, fold in the mixture and cook over coals for 30 mins, with coals on the lid. Serve with cream and fresh fruit.
