October 18: Ano ang Iyong Best Trade Deal?
Source of Discussion: https://youtu.be/TrjF69xkyIg

💁🏻 Concept: Trust
Trust is more than believing truths about God—it is resting in Him with confidence and surrender. It is the practical outworking of faith, where anxiety is exchanged for peace and self-reliance is abandoned. Through trust, we experience God more deeply, enjoy His promises, and find strength in every circumstance (Proverbs 3:5–6; Psalm 37:5).

📖 Bible Readings: 2 Chronicles 20:12
(2 Chronicles 20:1-30; Proverbs 3:5-6; Psalm 37:5; Isaiah 26:3–4; John 14:1)

👨🏻‍💻 Teachings:
1. Trust is the practical outworking of belief.
2. Trust is trading your anxiety for peace.
3. Trust is the best way to experience God.

💪🏼 Applications:
1. Entrust your plans, struggles, and fears to God.
2. Exchange anxiety for the peace of God.
3. Enrich your experience of God by trusting in Him.

October 17: Possible Ba na Mayroon pang Ibang mga Diyos?
Source of Discussion: https://youtu.be/B_i_vjQ943o

💁🏻 Concept: Tritheism
Tritheism is the mistaken belief that there are three separate gods instead of one God in three persons. The Bible teaches there is only one true God (Deut. 6:4) who exists eternally as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Matt. 28:19). True faith affirms one God in three persons - united in essence, will, and glory. Rejecting tritheism protects the truth of God’s triunity and the beauty of His triune nature.

📖 Bible Readings: Deuteronomy 6:4
(Deuteronomy 4:35; 1 Kings 8:60; Isaiah 44:6, 10-11; Genesis 1:1-3; Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 3:16–17; Matthew 28:19; John 14:16–17; John 14:26; John 15:26; John 16:13–15; 2 Corinthians 13:14; 1 Peter 1:2; Jude 1:20–21; John 1:1; John 1:14; John 8:58; John 10:30; John 20:28; Romans 9:5; Philippians 2:5–6; Colossians 1:15–17; Colossians 2:9; Titus 2:13; Hebrews 1:3; Hebrews 1:8; 2 Peter 1:1; Revelation 1:8; Revelation 22:12–13; Genesis 1:2; Acts 5:3–4; John 16:13; Romans 8:9–11; 1 Corinthians 2:10–11; 1 Corinthians 3:16; 1 Corinthians 6:19–20; 2 Corinthians 3:17; Ephesians 4:4-6, 30; Hebrews 9:14)

3. We believe in one God is there is no other.

💪🏼 Applications:
1. Guard against false views of God.
2. Glorify the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
3. Gain assurance of salvation.

October 16: Limang Paliwanag Tungkol sa Trinity - Trinity
Source of Discussion: https://youtu.be/IpamCXJeeCw

💁🏻 Concept: Trinity
The Trinity teaches that the one true God exists eternally as three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each person is fully God, yet distinct from the others. This is not a contradiction but a divine truth revealed in Scripture. The Father plans, the Son accomplishes, and the Spirit applies salvation. The Trinity is essential to understanding God’s love, grace, and the gospel itself.

Five (5) WRONG explanations of the Trinity:

1. Egg (shell, white, yolk)
Error: Partialism

2. Water (solid, liquid, gas)
Error: Modalism

3. Sun (sun, light, heat)
Error: Arianism

4. Person (father, son, farmer)
Error: Modalism

5. Three-in-one Coffee (coffee, sugar, creamer)
Error: Tritheism

📖 Bible Readings: Matthew 28:19

October 15: Kamusta ang Spiritual Health Mo?
Source of Discussion: https://youtu.be/82voruIm4Zc

💁🏻 Concept: Trichotomy
Trichotomy teaches that humans have three parts—body, soul, and spirit. The body connects to the physical world, the soul to thoughts and emotions, and the spirit to God. However, many Christians teach Dichotomy which sees people as one unified being, often described in two parts (body and soul/spirit).

📖 Bible Readings: 1 Thessalonians 5:23
(Hebrews 4:12; Genesis 2:7; Matthew 10:28; 2 Corinthians 7:1; 1 Samuel 18:1; Revelation 6:9; Job 32:8; Ecclesiastes 12:7; 1 Corinthians 2:11; Romans 8:16; James 2:26)

👨🏻‍💻 Teachings:
Immaterial:
1. Spirit is the mind and emotion of a person.
2. Soul refers to the life of a person.
Material:
3. Body is the physical aspect of a person.

October 14: Tatlong Dahilan Para Makibahagi sa Lord’s Supper
Source of Discussion: https://youtu.be/X-TnABbOgCY

💁🏻 Concept: Transubstantiation
Some denominations teach that in the Lord’s Supper (the Eucharist), the bread and wine become Christ’s body and blood, though they still look like bread and wine. This view, called transubstantiation, claims the elements change in substance by God’s power. A more biblical view is that Christ is truly present, not physically in the elements, but spiritually—by the Spirit and through faith. The bread and wine remain bread and wine, serving as signs and seals of God’s covenant promises.

Suggested Flow:
1. Prepare the bread and wine.
2. Personal prayer: Confession of sins and remembering the cross of Christ.
3. Bread symbolizing the body of Christ.
-Read 1 Corinthians 11:23-24
-Pray thanking Jesus for sacrificing His body on the cross.
-Eat the bread together
4. Wine symbolizing the blood of Christ.
-Read 1 Corinthians 11:25-26
-Pray thanking Jesus for shedding His blood for our sins.
-Drink the wine/juice together
5. Sing together: Ang Tanging Alay Ko

📖 Bible Readings: Matthew 26:26–28
(John 6:53–56; 1 Corinthians 10:16–17; 1 Corinthians 11:23–26)

👨🏻‍💻 Teachings:
Three reasons to practice the Lord’s Supper:
1. Past: Revisiting the cross of Christ.
2. Present: Communion with Christ.
3. Future: Proclaiming the return of Christ.

💪🏼 Applications:
1. Convert to Christ and be baptized.
2. Confess your sins to God and to one another.
3. Commune with Christ through the Lord’s Supper.

🎙Discussion:
Why do you have to partake in the Lord’s Supper?

October 13: Tatlong Dahilan Para Magtiwala sa Diyos
Source of Discussion: https://youtu.be/qf5bBV0HWwo

💁🏻 Concept: Transcendence of God
To say that God is transcendent means He exists above, beyond, and independent of His creation. He is not bound by time, space, or matter. Unlike His creatures, He is wholly “other” and infinitely greater than all He has made. Scripture reveals God’s transcendence in passages like Isaiah 55:8–9 “My thoughts are not your thoughts…” It reminds us that He rules over all, cannot be reduced to human categories, and deserves our awe-filled worship.

📖 Bible Readings: Isaiah 55:8–9
(Psalm 113:4–6; 1 Kings 8:27; Jeremiah 23:23–24; Acts 17:24–25)

👨🏻‍💻 Teachings:
Three Reasons to Trust God:
1. God is both transcendent and immanent.
2. God’s thoughts are infinitely higher.
3. God’s ways are infinitely better.

💪🏼 Applications:
1. Repent by changing your mind.
2. Rely on God’s plan and wisdom.

October 12: Saan Nagmula Ang Kaluluwa?
Source of Discussion: https://youtu.be/MyVJ3JuSZIs

💁🏻 Concept: Traducianism
Traducianism is the view that the human soul, along with the body, is generated from the parents at conception. This means that both body and soul are passed down from Adam through ordinary generation, explaining why all humans inherit a sinful nature (Romans 5:12). This position contrasts with Creationism (the belief that God creates a new soul for each person directly). Traducianism accounts for original sin and humanity’s solidarity in Adam. Our souls are not created “neutral,” but we are conceived in sin (Psalm 51:5). This reminds us of the depth of our need for redemption in Christ, the Second Adam, who alone can give us new life.

📖 Bible Readings: Psalm 51:5
(Genesis 2:7; Ecclesiastes 12:7; Romans 5:12-19; Zechariah 12:1; Job 33:4; Genesis 5:3; Psalm 51:5; Hebrews 7:9–10; 1 Corinthians 15:21–22; Psalm 139:13–14; Isaiah 42:5; Numbers 16:22; Titus 2:11-12; Ephesians 2:8-9)

👨🏻‍💻 Teachings:
Traducianism teaches:
1. Human soul came from human parents.
2. Humans inherited Adam’s sinful nature.
3. Humans need Christ to become a new creation.

💪🏼 Applications:
1. Admit that we sin by choice and by nature.
2. Accept the free gift of salvation by faith.
3. Abide in Christ and live by God’s grace.

🎙Discussion:
Why is it important to understand that we inherit sin from Adam, and that we sin by choice and by nature?

Alternative questions:
1. What have you learned from this devotion?
2. How can you practically apply our devotion?

October 11: Ano Ang Solution?
Source of Discussion: https://youtu.be/s4LpzR3Y0VM

💁🏻 Concept: Total Depravity
Total Depravity, also called Total Inability, teaches that because of Adam’s fall, every part of human nature—mind, heart, will, and actions—has been corrupted by sin (Romans 3:10–12). It does not mean people are as evil as possible, but that sin affects the whole person, leaving us unable to choose God or do true good apart from divine grace. Man is spiritually dead in sin (Ephesians 2:1–3), incapable of saving himself, and utterly dependent on God’s sovereign grace in Christ. This humbles human pride and magnifies the necessity of God’s initiative in salvation.

Exclusive Content:

Bible and Politics: Applying this Biblical Concept in Philippine Politics.

Three Solutions:

1. Low taxation: People must use their own money to solve their own problems.

2. Limited government: Government exists to secure justice and maintain peace and order.

3. Libertarian Constitution: A system that makes it easy for good citizens to thrive and hard for corrupt leaders to survive.

📖 Bible Readings: Romans 3:9–12
(Mark 7:21-23; Ephesians 2:1–5; Jeremiah 17:9; John 6:44; Titus 3:3–5)

👨🏻‍💻 Teachings:
1. Humans are created sinless and good.
2. Humans fell into sin and became slaves to it.
3. Humans can only be freed by Christ.

💪🏼 Applications:
1. Go back to God’s original plan for your life.
2. Give your all to Jesus - our Lord and Savior.
3. Guide others to Jesus - the only solution to the greatest problem of humanity.

🎙Discussion:
Why is Jesus the only solution to the greatest problem of humanity?

October 10: Alam mo ba na Gusto ni Lord Makipag-Relasyon sa Iyo?
Source of Discussion: https://youtu.be/TkAMaP-e2fo

💁🏻 Concept: Theophany
A theophany is a visible appearance of God to reveal Himself to people. In the Old Testament, He often appeared through fire, cloud, or an angel (Genesis 18; Exodus 3:2; Judges 6:11–24). These were not His full essence, since no one can see God and live (Exodus 33:20), but gracious signs of His presence. Many theophanies are seen as Christophanies—pre-incarnate appearances of Christ (John 1:18; Hebrews 1:1–3). Ultimately, theophanies show God’s desire to make Himself known, fulfilled when the Word became flesh.

October 09: Pwede Bang Maniwala sa Diyos at Sa Evolution?
Source of Discussion: https://youtu.be/TL5ASd71eMU

💁🏻 Concept: Theistic Evolution
Theistic evolution is the view that God created life through the process of evolution, guiding natural development over time to bring about all living forms. While it seeks to harmonize Scripture with modern science, this perspective often compromises the plain reading of Genesis 1–2, which presents creation as a direct act of God by His Word, not through random mutations and natural selection. God is both Creator and Sustainer, who spoke creation into existence in six days, making man in His image uniquely from the dust of the ground (Genesis 2:7). Evolution undermines the historicity of Adam, the doctrine of original sin, and ultimately the gospel of Christ as the second Adam.

📖 Bible Readings: Matthew 19:4
(Matthew 19:4-6; Genesis 1:1, 26–27; Genesis 2:7; Romans 5:12–19; 1 Corinthians 15:21–22)

👨🏻‍💻 Teachings:
1. The Bible gives as the true account of creation.

3. The Bible will endure and stand the test of time.

💪🏼 Applications:
1. Do not compromise the truth of God.
2. Define gender as Jesus did.
3. Defend the biblical faith intelligently.

🎙Discussion:
Why should we never compromise the truth of God with the lies of men?

October 08: Lumalago Ka Ba sa Buhay Espirituwal?
Source of Discussion: https://youtu.be/OuWWkw5Xx1M

💁🏻 Concept: Textual Variants
Textual variants refer to the small differences that appear among the thousands of ancient copies of Scripture. These can involve spelling, word order, or even the inclusion or omission of a phrase. While some may seem concerning at first glance, none of them change the central doctrines of the Christian faith. Instead, they show God’s providence in preserving His Word through history. The Scriptures are infallible in their original manuscripts, and that God has faithfully preserved His truth so that His people can trust the Bible as fully reliable for faith and life.

Examples of textual variants:
1. Story: Mark 16:9-20
2. Spelling: Ἰωάννης / Ἰωάνης - Johnn / John
3. Order: Jesus Christ / Christ Jesus
4. Synonyms: Jesus said / He answered

📖 Bible Readings: Psalm 119:89
(Isaiah 40:8; Matthew 5:18; John 17:17; 2 Timothy 3:16–17; Psalm 12:6–7; Isaiah 40:8; Matthew 24:35; 1 Peter 1:24–25; Psalm 119:89, 152; Matthew 5:18; John 10:35; Proverbs 30:5; Luke 21:33)

👨🏻‍💻 Teachings:
1. Our Bible is translated from Hebrew and Greek.
2. Our Bible is a product of 2,000 years of copying.
3. Our Bible is the preserved Word of God.

💪🏼 Applications:
1. Place your confidence in God’s preserved Word.

October 07: Bakit Importanteng Alamin ang Iniisip ng Diyos?
Source of Discussion: https://youtu.be/lIOBbKLXFP4

💁🏻 Concept: Teleological Argument
The Teleological Argument (from the Greek telos meaning “end” or “purpose”) argues for God’s existence by pointing to the order, harmony, and design in the universe. Creation is not random or chaotic—it is purposeful, structured, and finely tuned to sustain life. From the complexity of DNA to the vast precision of the cosmos, everything reflects intelligent design. Scripture teaches that creation itself testifies to its Creator (Psalm 19:1; Romans 1:20). While creation reveals God’s eternal power and divine nature, human sin suppresses this truth. Therefore, general revelation (through creation) is sufficient to leave humanity without excuse, but only special revelation (in Christ and Scripture) brings saving knowledge of God.

📖 Bible Readings: Romans 1:20
(Psalm 8:3-4; 19:1-4; 139:14; Job 12:7–10; Isaiah 45:18; Colossians 1:16–17)

👨🏻‍💻 Teachings:
1. You are not random but designed.
2. You are planned with a purpose in mind.
3. You are the best evidence of the Creator.

💪🏼 Applications:
1. Stay away from too much spontaneity.
2. Search for God’s mind and direction.
3. Show the proof of God by a changed of life.

🎙Discussion:
How can you practically seek God’s mind and direction for your life?

Alternative questions:
1. What have you learned from this devotion?
2. How can you practically apply our devotion?
