September 19: Bakit Ikaw Na Dapat ang Pinaka-Masaya?
Source of Discussion: https://youtu.be/qe3owKRBePo

💁🏻 Concept: Special Grace
Special grace—also called saving grace—is the sovereign work of God whereby He brings sinners to salvation in Christ. Unlike common grace, which is given to all, special grace is effectual and particular: it is applied only to God’s elect, drawing them irresistibly to faith and repentance. It is not earned or deserved but flows from God’s eternal love and covenant mercy in Christ.

📖 Bible Readings: Ephesians 2:8–9
(Titus 2:11; John 6:37, 44; Romans 8:29–30; 2 Timothy 1:9; Matthew 5:45; Acts 14:17; Luke 12:6-7)

👨🏻‍💻 Teachings:

2. Special grace is for believers only.
3. Jesus is the most special gift.

2. Do not envy other people.
3. Thank God for special grace.

September 18: Naniniwala Ka Ba sa Speaking In Tongues?
Source of Discussion: https://youtu.be/EzWLCBbZQVo

💁🏻 Concept: Speaking in Tongues

Among Christian traditions, there are two kinds of speaking in tongues:

1. Glossolalia is ecstatic speech, unintelligible, and not a human language.

2. Xenolalia, however, is the miraculous ability to speak real human languages unknown to the speaker, as seen at Pentecost in Acts 2, where diverse nations heard the gospel in their own tongue.

📖 Bible Readings: Acts 2:4-12
(Acts 2:1–12; 1 Corinthians 12:10–11; 1 Corinthians 14:18–19, 27–28, 39–40)

👨🏻‍💻 Teachings:
Speaking in Tongues:
1. It is an intelligible human language.
2. It requires interpretation.
3. It confirms the gospel for all nations.

💪🏼 Applications:
1. Do not obsess over studying speaking in tongues.
2. Pray with your own language.
3. Avoid mysticism and shamanism.

September 17: Bakit Hinayaan Ni Lord Na Patayin Si Charlie Kirk?
Source of Discussion: https://youtu.be/UAomcGC_gxI

💁🏻 Concept: Sovereignty
Sovereignty is God’s supreme rule and authority over all things. His will covers everything that comes to pass, leaving nothing outside His control. Even evil and misfortune are subject to His governance, fulfilling His wise purposes. This sovereignty is not passive permission but active direction of history. For believers, it is a source of deep comfort, assuring them that every trial and circumstance is ordered for their ultimate good and God’s glory.

📖 Bible Readings: Psalm 115:3
(Proverbs 19:21; Isaiah 46:9–10; Daniel 4:34–35; Romans 8:28–30; Psalm 23:5, 116:15; Acts 7:53-60)

👨🏻‍💻 Teachings:
The Sovereign will of God:
1. Covers whatsoever comes to pass.
2. Controls even evil and misfortune.
3. Comforts believers in times of suffering.

💪🏼 Applications:
1. Find comfort in God’s sovereignty.
2. Feast in the presence of your enemies.
3. Fall in love with this biblical doctrine.

September 16: Huwag Kang Mag-Su***de! Eto ang Tatlong Dahilan
Source of Discussion: https://youtu.be/Er9lMf7uf_M

💁🏻 Concept: Soul Sleep (Spirit Sleep)
Soul Sleep is the teaching that when believers die, their souls enter a state of unconscious existence, only to be awakened at Christ’s return for the resurrection. This view is often based on passages where death is described as “sleep.” The Bible teaches that while the body does “sleep” in the grave awaiting resurrection, the soul is immediately conscious in God’s presence. Scripture affirms that to be “absent from the body is to be present with the Lord” (2 Corinthians 5:8), and that believers who die are already with Christ (Philippians 1:23). Thus, death is not unconsciousness for the believer but a blessed entrance into God’s presence while awaiting the final resurrection.

📖 Bible Readings: 1 Thessalonians 4:13-15
(Philippians 1:21-23; 2 Corinthians 5:6–8; Luke 23:43; Revelation 6:9–11; Luke 16:22-23)

👨🏻‍💻 Teachings:
Three reasons you should not commit su***de:
1. Su***de does not end consciousness.
2. Many people truly love and care for you.
3. God has a purpose and plan for your life.

💪🏼 Applications:
1. Wait patiently until you see God’s deliverance.
2. Remember your loved ones who care for you.
3. Stay alive even when life doesn’t make sense yet.

🎙Discussion:
What is the importance of knowing that the soul does not sleep?

September 15: Ano Ang Pinaka-matinding Tanong ni Kristo?
Source of Discussion: https://youtu.be/UylYd-3cpiE

💁🏻 Concept: Soul
In Scripture, “soul” (Heb. nephesh, Gk. psuchē) does not primarily mean kaluluwa but “life” itself—the living person as a whole. It signifies breath, vitality, and existence, encompassing both body and spirit (Genesis 2:7). To lose one’s soul is to lose life with God (Mark 8:36). Thus, the soul is not a ghostly part but the person’s very life, entrusted to God for eternity.

📖 Bible Readings: Mark 8:36
(Ecclesiastes 12:7; Matthew 10:28, 16:26; 2 Corinthians 5:6–8; Revelation 6:9–11)

👨🏻‍💻 Teachings:
1. Soul means your life itself.
2. Soul means your life in God.
3. Soul means your life for eternity.

💪🏼 Applications:
1. Aspire to be incorruptible.
2. Amass good works.
3. Aim for God’s approval.

🎙Discussion:
Do you aspire to have an incorruptible heart?

Alternative questions:

September 14: Kung May Plano Ang Diyos, May Plano Din Ang Kaaway
Source of Discussion: https://youtu.be/SmIOCwKPvj0

💁🏻 Concept: Sons of God
In Scripture, “sons of God” often refers to angels highlighting their role as created beings who serve God. Unlike Christ, the eternal Son, they are creatures under divine authority. It is possible that fallen angels were once called “sons of God,” as they originally belonged to God’s heavenly host. Their rebellion transformed them from ministering spirits into enemies of God, contrasting their former glory with their present ruin.

📖 Bible Readings: Job 1:6
(Job 2:1; Psalm 29:1; Hebrews 1:5–14; Revelation 5:11–12; Ephesians 6:12; Matthew 25:41; 2 Peter 2:4; Jude 6)

👨🏻‍💻 Teachings:
1. Sons of God are angels who serve God.
2. Some angels abandoned their positions.
3. Satan is the leader of angelic rebels.

💪🏼 Applications:
1. Treasure our privilege position in Christ.
2. Test every spirit whether they are from God.
3. Triumph over Devil’s schemes through Christ.

🎙Discussion:
How do you practically test every spirit if they are from God?

Alternative questions:
1. What have you learned from this devotion?
2. How can you practically apply our devotion?

September 13: Masasabi Mo Ba Na Ikaw Ay Humble?
Source of Discussion: https://youtu.be/GxGOuYwSHcQ

💁🏻 Concept: Son of Man
The title “Son of Man” is a Messianic title Jesus used for Himself, rooted in Daniel 7:13–14, where one “like a son of man” approaches the Ancient of Days to receive dominion over all creation. It affirms both His true humanity and His full deity, since this figure is worshiped and given authority over all nations. By this title, Jesus declares Himself the suffering Servant who identifies with humanity and the divine King who reigns eternally. This title secures the truth of Christ’s real humanity and His role as the representative head of His people, fulfilling what Adam failed to do.

📖 Bible Readings: Daniel 7:13–14
(Matthew 8:20; Mark 10:45; Luke 19:10; Acts 7:56; Mark 9:35, 10:43-44; Matthew 20:26-27, 23:11)

👨🏻‍💻 Teachings:
1. The Son of Man is a mysterious, prophesied Ruler.
2. The Son of Man is the eternal Divine King.
3. The Son of Man is the suffering Servant.

💪🏼 Applications:
1. Lead by being a servant of all.
2. Live with the humility of Jesus.
3. Level up for greatness by being Christlike.

🎙Discussion:
What can we learn from the humility of Christ?

Alternative questions:
1. What have you learned from this devotion?
2. How can you practically apply our devotion?

September 12: Bakit si Jesus ang Ating Big Brother?
Source of Discussion: https://youtu.be/ZgUyQJTFaTQ

💁🏻 Concept: Son of God
The title “Son of God” designates Jesus as the eternal, divine Son who is equal in nature with the Father. Biblically, this title reveals His deity, His unique relationship with the Father, and His role in redemption. Unlike believers who are called children of God by adoption, Jesus is the Son by nature, sharing the same essence with the Father. In the Old Testament, the promised Messiah was called God’s Son, fulfilled perfectly in Christ. This title safeguards both the full deity of Christ and His eternal Sonship. To deny it is to undermine the gospel, for only the divine Son could accomplish salvation for sinners.

📖 Bible Readings: John 1:14
(Psalm 2:7, 22:22; John 5:18; Hebrews 1:3, 2:11; Colossians 1:15–17; John 1:1-3, 14; Matthew 12:49-50, 28:10; Mark 3:34-35; John 20:17; Romans 8:29; )

👨🏻‍💻 Teachings:
1. Jesus is the one and only Son of God.
2. Jesus is our sacrificial and loving Big Brother.
3. Jesus’ blood secures our adoption into God’s family.

💪🏼 Applications:
1. Show gratitude by loving like Jesus.
2. Sacrifice for Jesus by offering your best.
3. Share Christ without being ashamed.

🎙Discussion:
To whom will you share the power of the blood of Christ today?

Alternative questions:
1. What have you learned from this devotion?
2. How can you practically apply our devotion?

September 11: Kanino Ka Patay na Patay?
Source of Discussion: https://youtu.be/MHXMsd9wqwM

💁🏻 Concept: Sinless Perfection
Sinless perfection teaches that believers can become completely free from sin in this life, but Scripture disagrees. While Christians grow in holiness, no one is sinless until glorification. Even Paul admitted he had not reached perfection but pressed on toward the goal. Though sin’s power is broken in Christ, its presence remains. True perfection awaits eternity, when Christ returns and we are fully conformed to His image.

📖 Bible Readings: Colossians 3:5
(Luke 9:23 ; Matthew 16:24; Colossians 3:5; 1 John 1:8-10; Ephesians 2:8-9; Philippians 3:12, 20-21; Romans 6:6, 7:18–25; Hebrews 10:14; Revelation 21:27; 1 John 3:2)

👨🏻‍💻 Teachings:
1. We are sinners saved by grace.
2. We are called to die to self every day.
3. We will be made perfect at the resurrection.

💪🏼 Applications:
1. Die to self daily and surrender your will to God.
2. Do your best in everything for God’s glory.
3. Depend fully on the Holy Spirit for empowerment.

🎙Discussion:
What does it mean for you, personally, to die daily?

September 10: Ano Ang Gagagawin Ng Diyos sa Mga Kurakot?

💁🏻 Concept: Sin
Sin, in Scripture, is described as hamartia, meaning “missing the mark” of God’s perfect standard. It is more than wrong behavior — it is rebellion against God’s holiness and results in separation from Him. God is just and will not leave the guilty unpunished, yet His mercy is revealed through Christ. Only through Jesus’ sacrifice can we be forgiven, restored, and freed from condemnation. Our response is to repent, renounce sin, and walk in obedience, trusting Christ alone for salvation.

📖 Bible Readings: Romans 3:23
(Romans 3:23, 6:23; Ezekiel 18:20; 1 John 1:9, 3:4; James 1:14-15; Isaiah 59:2; Proverbs 14:34, 17:23; 29:2; Isaiah 1:23-24; Nahum 1:3)

👨🏻‍💻 Teachings:
1. Sin is hamartia, which means "missing the mark."
2. God will not leave the guilty go unpunished.
3. Christ alone saves us from God’s punishment.

💪🏼 Applications:
1. Repudiate the belief that God balances good and evil.
2. Remember that all sin has a day of reckoning.
3. Renounce all sins and pray for spiritual breakthroughs.

🎙Discussion:
Why is trusting in Christ’s sacrifice essential for our salvation rather than relying on our own good works?

Alternative questions:
1. What have you learned from this devotion?
2. How can you practically apply our devotion?

September 09: Gusto Mo Bang Makakita Ng Himala?
Source of Discussion: https://youtu.be/SDm1t-LYnWY

💁🏻 Concept: Signs (Miraculous)
There are two kinds of signs: Miraculous signs and practical signs.

Miraculous signs—like healings, wonders, and fulfilled prophecies—reveal God’s power and point people to Christ (John 20:30-31).

Practical signs, however, involve God’s guidance through His Word, godly counsel, inner peace, answered prayers, and His glory revealed. Both kinds remind us that true signs are meant to deepen faith, not just satisfy curiosity.

📖 Bible Readings: Hebrews 2:3-4
(Acts 17:13; Luke 16:27-31; Romans 1:3-4; John 2:18-22; Exodus 4:1–9; Acts 14:3; mark 16:20; Isaiah 7:14; John 2:11, 11:4, 20:30–31; Matthew 12:39; Hebrews 2:3-4; Genesis 24:12-27; Exodus 18:17-24; Acts 15:22-29)

👨🏻‍💻 Teachings:
1. Miraculous signs validate the messenger.
2. Miraculous signs confirm the message.
3. Miraculous signs reach their climax in Christ’s resurrection.

💪🏼 Applications:
1. Believe in God even without seeing miracles.
2. Be blessed by believing that the Bible is enough.
3. Be God’s “living miraculous sign” to others.

🎙Discussion:
Why did Jesus say, “blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed” (John 20:29)?

Alternative questions:
1. What have you learned from this devotion?
2. How can you practically apply our devotion?
