Just 6 minutes a day can change your mood drastically. When you pick up a book and feel overwhelmed by how long and arduous it feels just remember to take it 6 minutes at a time. 6 minutes is less than 2% of your day.

Read. It's good for you.

Your brain needs to be regularly exercised, and reading is one of the best ways to do that.

Books are great for learning about other cultures, different lifestyles, different ways of thinking. They're also great for keeping your brain active and sharp as you get older—it's fun to think about what you've read in the past!
