THE DRUIDS FOUNDED KILKENNY CITY.
The entire foundation of St. Canice's cathedral is explored in a new book, THE WISDOM OF THE IRISH DRUIDS, now available in Kilkenny bookshops. The mound on which the cathedral and round tower stand was christianised in 597 AD by St. Canice after he took it from the druids who were living in beehive huts up there. These included the last surviving Archdruid of Ireland who had to flee Tara and the better known druidic settlements for fear of invading Christian armies.
Many of the Druidic Filidh had moved over to the Christianity of the Celtic Church - but the druids themselves hadn't. Thus the druids were amongst the intelligentsia who founded Kilkenny city in the 6th century, though it had been a settlement for a few centuries beforehand.

THE WISDOM OF THE IRISH DRUIDS official price is £9.95 sterling, so for Heaven's sake don't pay the 40 Euro plus that this reseller is demanding for it - especially as he has occupied the main price box!
There is nothing we can do to get rid of this pest - he has bought copies of my book new for £9.95 and is attempting to resell them for over 40 Euro.
So don't get caught. pay the official price of £9.95 only, which still applies.
